Before and After

We have been done for some time, but I have been lazy. I didn't take any before pictures before the project started, so I had to dig out the before pictures after we painted when we moved in. Those were pre-digital age, so I've been LAZY!!! There was a lot of white in the before, A LOT. Also, note it is the same table. When you get a free LG solid surface counter top, it is hard to let the extra go to waste. I think Wayne did great with the whole project under Bryan's guidance, we sure do appreciate all his help!!!!

Back together

Hads is home. Not only did she bring home new clothes and toys, she got an energy charge and picked up even more attitude. Saturday has been Attitude Adjustment Day (AAD).

We got the baby swing out for Ms. Ellison. We were met with her usually happy grin.

Hads gave Ellison Mr. Squiggles since she convinced Nana Vicki to buy her Jilly. Apparently, Mr. Squiggles was lonely. I can tell you Wayne and I were quite disappointed, we thought the cats would go crazy seeing the two of them zip around on the hardwood. We got no reaction. We even brought in the mouser, Murtis, NOTHING. So much for some entertainment.

Wayne appears to be taking desperate measures to get Ellison hooked on baseball. This is Wayne listening to the baseball game the other afternoon.

A full special weekend

This weekend we had Had's dance recital and Ellison's baby dedication. It worked out perfectly because the grandma's were able to come up. Hads did fabulous at her dance recital, even bossing one of the little girls while they were on stage, it was hilarious.

Summer's coming

This past Sunday we had Hadley's Awana Cubbie ceremony. She did pretty good during the songs and semi focused on what she was suppose to be doing. Before the program, the girls wanted to hold El, notice they look thrilled, she looks confused.

Then Monday Hadley had her PreK ceremony. She did great!!!!

Whoot Whoot, my sister is graduating today!!!

When her class got done singing and they went to sit down, she began signing, I Love you and pointing at us. Awwww we got the sweet Hadley today...

This is LOVE

I AM

I am 6 months old

• I am wearing size two diapers.
• I am beginning to wear 6-12 month clothes.
• I am eating 5 ounces of milk every 3 hours during the day. I have a 7 ounce bottle with milk and cereal at bedtime.
• I am sleeping from 8:30 pm to 6:00 am, although I am waking up several times during the night now crying and pulling at my ears.
• I am easily comforted though and go back to sleep once I get my pappy.
• I am NOT interested in eating solid foods. So far I have tried peas and sweet potatoes and I pitched a big ol' fit.
• I am very easy going.
• I am a screamer, not a crier. I like to yell at you and get your attention and then smile at you.
• I am loving learning to stand up, it is all I want to do.
• I am able to sit up for a few seconds before toppling over.
• I am fascinated with anything around me and want to grab it.

Family of three

Today we went to the petting farm down the road. Ellison's daycare was having a field trip. It was WARM!!! She saw some animals but really wasn't' that impressed. We went to visit with the other parents more than for her, she's not quite old enough to be able to fully enjoy it yet.

It will be a few more years before I can really enjoy the teeter totter.

Well you see, as we were getting ready to go on the field trip, Hads got a call to go for a play date and we got ditched. After the field trip when we went to get her, they asked if Gracie could come to our house. She did and the convinced me to saddle up Sassy and let them ride. I hope they had fun, because I ended up a sweaty mess covered in poop. Oh and she bit me....totally not in her nature. She is 24 years old and MELLOW, guess she wasn't in the mood for a stroll.

You don't know TIRED....

I came home from work Friday and found Hads like this. She slept for an hour and a half. Her right hand is actually still on the mouse. So pitiful, so out of character for her.

My Sweet girls

So I was woke up Sunday morning to the sweet voice of the DIVA. They had made me breakfast in bed. So sweet, until I dropped the eggs in the bed and then knocked my drink on the carpeted floor. No time to linger in bed eating breakfast, time to do laundry and clean up, HAPPY MOTHER's DAY!!!!!

UP to

This little lady had a field trip at the park yesterday. Can you tell it was a little WARM? Guess who had three meltdowns over nothing. Gee that wasn't even a tough one was it? This girl is devoted to her friends, one in her class in particular and when she doesn't get exactly what she wants with her or someone tries to "take" her friend, a meltdown generally follows.

My wacky girl, this is Hads all the time, everyday.

Then last night was Gordon County Relay for Life. We went and visited Daddy for a couple of hours.

This little lady may just skip rolling over, sitting up and crawling, in favor of walking. All she wants to do is stand up.

Still standing, but now with my mama, cause I'm a mama's girl.

This sister of mine loves me so much, I'm not sure what to think about it.

I do not like them
