This time the falling asleep in the car, was a prelude to a stomach bug....a stomach bug right before we go on vacation.  She is normally a pretty sweet patient, but she was not happy about the prospect of her vacation being ruined.

So when the cat continues to get sick on your rug and you accidentally bleach two spots on your new rug.  I like the new rug, but I loved the old rug....hindsight is 20/20...

A night on the TOWN

The pictures from this night or NOT GOOD!!!  We were celebrating Amy's upcoming wedding and we went to paint pottery and to dinner.  Seriously, I wish I could repeat all the jokes we made about the top picture, they aren't fit for print.

We attempted a car selfie and as bad as it is, we deemed it better than the pottery shop!

The girls were two "full" from dinner to partake in dessert, so Lori and I were thrilled when we got home and there were Krispy Kreme doughnuts.  We might have partaken in a selfie and send a message to the group, letting them know what they missed out on.

I keep on walking....

Bless my baby girl.  I'm not sure when it happened, but she isn't a baby anymore.  Each year when I put her latest school picture in the frame on my desk.  I put it over the previous years pictures.  It allows me to walk down memory lane each year and see how much she has changed.  This walk down memory lane, didn't disappoint....well that depends on how you look at it.

Got Lunch?

When Mom comes to eat lunch with you and you smuggle in an extra bestie.  You are only suppose to bring one guest when someone comes to eat with you, but this one always manages to charm her way out of the rules and make her own.

She takes after her daddy.  She was suppose to be practicing her cheers, instead she "needed" a snack and by snack, she needed to quack!  Bless her introverted self.

This one is picture day ready and she picked out her own shoes ya'll.  I can't say that they go with the rest of the outfit, but her smile was legit and it is going to translate to a super cute picture.

I decided that I was going to try and put my own stamp on some of our painting...I won't be putting Wendy out of business anytime soon.  Wendy does all our signs, sketches, she is uber talented and I appreciate that talent more now.  I stenciled these letters and I seriously stressed over every stroke.  I can pick apart every mistake.  Although, I am super proud I finished it and that I made this reminder that hangs in the entry way to our home.

It's football season, so you must get the house game day ready too.  I found this H on etsy and fell in love, it was perfection and then customized the door mat on an etsy shop too!!!!

After we ate, we headed back to the condo to cool off, where little bit, promptly curled up on the bed.  She is rotten.

My little cutie walking into the game.  Her hair was insanely long.  I didn't realize how long it was until I was walking behind her, watching her swing it like nobody's business.

We might have gotten carried away with the selfies at this game.  I included them all, because I want to remember her wanting to take pictures with me and be silly.

I'm coming home!

These two cuties....they make me smile.  Hads got to ride in the homecoming parade on the middle school cheerleaders float.  Wyatt was there cheering on his team and Lori snapped a picture of these two cuties.

My little country girl

There was a cowgirl.  It was theme day at school, I would say she makes a pretty authentic cowgirl with the braids and missing two front teeth.  That smile though, it gets me every time!!!!

She said NO

I was pretty pumped about this addition to the house.  I had Wendy paint it for us from some of the salvaged wood we have been using.  The story is the first time Wayne asked me out, I said no.  We eventually began dating and the song we played at our wedding was Not a Moment Too Soon.

Which way do I go?

To say the girls activities keep us running in a variety of directions would be an understatement.  On this particular weekend, Ellison had a football game to cheer at and Hads had a tennis tournament.  We were able to double team it so to speak.  Wayne got Hads to the tournament, I took Els to cheer and during one of Hads breaks, they came over for a few minutes to see Miss Sassy pants do her thing.  It was then back to the courts to watch Hads finish out the tournament.

Two bits, four bits

If there is an activity, this one wants to participate and by participate I mean give it everything she has.  Cheer was the flyer that came home from school and cheer she did, she had the BEST time.  I'm not sure what her thing is going to be, it may be all the things, but she is JOY in all that she does!!!

She wanted her hair straightened for Picture Day....in other news, I am now clear to commit a crime because I have no finger prints left.  Bless she is mine, but I think she is stunning.
