Nothing like having sickies in the doctor's office...these sickies were wiped out.  This school thing is rough.  Can't tell you how many random places they have fallen asleep and they usually never do that.

Quick Pumpkins.....GO!!!!

We made our annual trek to Burt's Pumpkin Farm in October and all I have to say is it was COLD...FRIGID cold.  Which was completely shocking after having a relatively mild few weeks prior.  Sadly we were dressed quite warmly for the actual temperature...unprepared for how cold it would be with the wind though.  Our trip was short, we hit the highlights so we could check it off the list of traditions...so is the memory of 2014.  Short and sweet.

 

Three for the Tigers

We love us some Auburn football....well at least three of us do.  Can you tell which one of us likes to cheer on her team from afar?  Yeah, so we had tickets to another Auburn game and Hads requested we find a place for her to stay....she stayed with Gracie...  We cheered on our Tigers!!!!!!!

Fallin for ya

It's the most wonderful time of the year...FALL.  We love fall, we fall for fall.  What speaks fall more than a school fall festival....nevermind the fact we are in summer clothes...it's fall people.  Ellison thinks she is a big girl and always wants to be with Hadley and her friends.....

I love me some sleeping babies...it's not unusual for me to sneak in to check on them and snap a picture or two...she is backwards and without her facemask...precious.

 

Reunited

So twenty years ago, I graduated from high school....seems like yesterday.  Last year we had gone to Wayne's class reunion and it was so fun.  While it was nice seeing a few people I haven't seen in a very long time and hanging out with BFF Nikki, not many people showed up...at all...it could probably be called a dud of a reunion.

 

This is a selfie of me and Wyatt at the game, I pretty much picked and aggrevated the mess out of him, his Mom was mortified because I was making him show out.  Ha Ha...that's what friends are for!!!!

Wyatt and Haddley at the picnic...they were so funny playing together.  They were a team of two against the playground bully.  A little boy playing at the park started following Hadley and wouldn't leave her alone no matter how hard she tried to shake him.  He invaded her space one too many times, so Wyatt pushed him and told him to back off.  Got to love friends that have your back!!!!

Supporting the Addict

This girl absolutely loves to read.  I can be fixing her hair and she has a book in her hands reading.  It isn't unusual for her to have three or four books going at one time.  We picked up a couple of books for her at the book fair and she had them read in two days.  While supporting our school is great and all, mama can't afford to support a book habit if it is going to be that expensive.  We decided to take her to McKay's used book store, where she could feed her habit a little more economically.  This is her stash....whoot whoot...18 books for $26...now that is a deal right there.

 

LOVE

We got us some tennis playing girls.  I just hope it sticks because it gets them off the couch and keeps them active.  I'm not sure if Ellison's favorite part is the tennis or visiting everyone at the tennis courts.  Girlfriend has tons of friends.  When I go to pick them up or take them, there are kids speaking to her and I have not idea who they are.

We got Books

Muffins for Mom...it's the racket they use to lure the Mom's in to buy books....lots and lots of books.  Becca Boo joined us at the book fair.  Ellison was thrilled it was her first book fair and it is safe to say she wanted EVERYTHING....and I mean EVERYTHING!!!!

 

WAR EAGLE BABY

It's no secret we love us some Auburn Tigers!!!  We are so grateful Cousin Butch invites us to games and we got the special treat of all four of us going.  Now Hads may not agree, because she would just as soon be at home on the couch with her head glued in an iPad, but it is such a fun family activity.

 

 

 

This one absolutely adores her time at Jordan Hare and is usually on her feet the entire time.

 

CHEER ballers

Wayne helped coach middle school girls softball this year.  My girlies absolutely adored all the girls on the team, they met so many new friends and made some fun memories.  While I'm not sure either one of them will ever be future softball players, they enjoyed being the teams un-official mini cheerleaders.

 

Wayne would often send me pictures of the girls during practice, but none made my day more than this one...it was captioned...the gate to the field is locked.  How AWESOME is it that my husband is teaching my kid the finer points of B&E?????  Rather than that I will focus on him teaching here, where there is a will there is a way.
