House of Characters
Friday morning I had quite the collection of characters to get ready. Closing out Red Ribbon Week at school, Hads could wear her costume. A couple of weeks ago I realized that I hadn't even thought about a costume, when I asked her what she wanted to be, she informed me Pocahontas and that her BellBell would be making her costume. Knowing my mom requires a little more than two weeks, notice I attempted to explain to Hads that BellBell didn't have enough time and she quickly informed me, BellBell had two weeks. I went online and found something that was affordable and would satisfy the curly haired diva.
Then for some reason, Wayne decided to participate, I'm sure it is because he is a Big Kid himself, although his choice was extremely strange. I'm not sure if he was trying to be a Pointed Sister, but putt some make up on him and ummm hello????

The Red Shirts
This little lady had a field trip today. We went to the Pumpkin Patch Farm. The kiddos got to participate in all kinds of farm activities, run through a hay maze, go on a hay ride and then ended the day at a great park with a picnic. The day couldn't have been prettier, the weather was perfect. The only thing that would have made it better, is for it to have been on a Friday. Now I have to go back to work tomorrow and that just seems wrong!!!!

Dirt Good
I took this little lady out yesterday evening to take some pictures of her, for two reasons. One she is sporting an outfit (+ a few embellishments) that use to be mine and two I need a picture for her birthday invitation. I got my usual lack of cooperation from her. She didn't move around, but she wouldn't smile at me either.
She finally gave up and sat down. Modeling is tough work, it really takes it out of a girl.

I AM
I am 11 months old
- I am busting out of my 6-12 month clothes.
- I am still wearing a size 3 diapers.
- I am walking everywhere.
- I am into everything. Whatever is on the floor is going in my mouth, whatever is in my path is getting pulled out and left, whatever door can be opened will be opened.
- I am a red head all the way. I have one heck of a temper.
- I am extremely sensitive, if I am told no, the lip comes out and the tears start rolling.
- I am in love my my sister and I am a big daddy's girl.
- I am taking a morning bottle at 6:00, I eat oatmeal around 9:30. I just lost my brunch bottle. I eat lunch around 12:00, usually a fruit and a veggie. I eat an afternoon bottle around 3:00. Then supper around 6:30 of a fruit and veggie. Then a cereal bottle around 8:30.
- I am somewhat of a picky eater. Mom thinks it is more of an independence thing. I like to feed myself.
- I am not interested in drinking from a sippy cup at all!!!!!
- I am not a great sleeper right now, but it probably has to do with my ears. I go to sleep around 8:45 and sleep until 5:45.
- I am still taking two naps a day.

Over IT
This little lady is headed back to the ENT today. We had another set of ear infections last week. After our visit at the pediatrician, he called and moved our ENT appointment up and said we needed to take some type of action. Wednesday Els had the double ear infections, then Friday she couldn't keep anything down and appeared she had gotten the nasty stomach bug that was sweeping through her school. Yesterday, I got my version of it complete with 102.3 fever and today we are home with Hads who woke up at 2am christening our hallway. I am seriously over all the sickness and ready for some healthy kiddos.
UPDATED: Els ENT appointment went okay. She is now scheduled to get tubes on November 12th.

Beautiful Memories
Ahh the memories. Ellison has officially outgrown her bucket, Hads still meets the weight limit for her carseats, but can move on to a booster. Since Els has outgrown her bucket, we are in need of Hadley's carseats, well one of her carseats. One of her carseats has been so "loved" and is really worn out. Sunday Hadley's new booster seats had come in, so we went to Wally world to pick them up. We explained to her that big girls got booster seats and this would be her last ride in her car seat. Thinking she would be excited, we provided no more explanation. We got down the road and Wayne looked in his rear view mirror, Hadley was in tears. He asked her why she was crying and we heard, mumble, mumble, sniffle, sob. He asked again and between sniffles, she said "I want to keep this carseat for memories." I'm pretty sure Wayne almost wrecked, and I almost wet myself from laughing so hard. Wayne picking at me, told me I couldn't get rid of it, we had to keep it for MEMORIES. Knowing he was joking, I told him to get Hadley to name one specific memory that she wanted to remember about the carseat and I might consider it. UMMM, not surprising she couldn't be specific, but she did want to remember all her rides to school and rides to the beach in it. "Yes dear, she rides to school in it, but she has never ridden to the beach in it, we aren't keeping it."
My sensitive girl, I hope you have a lifetime of wonderful memories, that far surpass your memories of this carseat.

- Said carseat is in the trunk of my car, going anywhere but here.

Picture Heavy Post
We went to Burt's Pumpkin Farm today and the weather was beautiful. We got there early, not quite as early as I had planned, but early nonetheless. We met Darrell, Amanda and Rachel and then we got the treat of spending some time with The Watford's and The Sullivan's who were passing through on a long weekend trip through the North GA Mountains.
We had a little time to get a few pictures before the place was swarming with people. It looked like you had stepped in an ant bed, there were people everywhere. Knowing that it would be stressful, trying to capture pictures of the girls, I had already bought our pumpkins at a local fruit stand, so we didn't have the stress of picking pumpkins out. Crazy right, we went to a pumpkin farm not intending to buy any pumpkins? Hads was very cooperative to having her picture made, although when you tell her to give you a pretty smile, you get this wide smile full of teeth that looks kind of crazy. Then she tilts and cocks her heads in a variety of poses, that I'm sure she thinks are very Selena Gomez, but just don't photograph very well. I don't even know where to start on Ms. Ellison, she wasn't uncooperative, I just couldn't get her to look at the camera. Looking at all the shots, I have about 50 pairs of hog jowls. She is looking down at the pumpkins in every one. I finally gave up as we captured that day in that moment and that's what it was, she was interested in the pumpkins.
