I love her art, I love how she is always a red head in her art. Sadly, I can't keep it all...so I try to take pictures of as much of it as I can. She gets really upset when she finds a piece in the trash. I literally could wall paper Buckingham Palace with all the art she has made in her little 5 years. She will even tell us she is an "artist".

All dressed up
All dressed up for a night on the town. The middle school basketball team Wayne helped coach invited the whole family to their end of the year banquet. Which the girls love, because they adored every one of the players and one of the other assistant coaches. Heck some might even call Ellison the unofficial mascot of the team, they sure filled her full of enough junk food during the season.

Trust Fall
I recently had the opportunity to participate in a leadership class for our County. It was an amazing experience that allowed me to view our little community in a whole new way and how my family could positively impact our area in a different way. I was able to meet an amazing group of people, I wouldn't have normally had the opportunity to meet and one of our final classes was a team building activity. I was on an awesome team that worked well together and communicated amazingly well. Our team sponsor said she was really impressed with how well we worked as a team and were probably the best team she had ever seen participate. She said we listened to each others input, took care of team members who were weaker in different areas and were competitive, but still willing to try different ideas to win.
Our final team building activity was the trust fall. Let's just say I wasn't scared, I was nervous, but I was kind of excited...it seemed new and different. I was elected to go first, because hello 4'11" easy start....it was fun, I squealed when I landed in their arms...it was a funny sensation to be falling backwards into nothingness and then be caught by safe hands instead of the ground. The next team member that went we dropped...poor Mitch, I don't know if we were over confident and just didn't create a base but he fell right through our arms and hit the ground. After that, Amanda was the only one that would go, she was caught. Our sponsor said we each didn't have to go, as long as we caught someone the same amount of times as we had team members. Do you see what is about to happen? I got elected to fall three more times....I squealed EACH.AND.EVERY.TIME!!!!

Room for one more?
When you come home from a day at work and find them all in one bed doing different things. One of them is legitimately out like a light, the other reading a book, and the third on his phone playing a game.

Eye photo bombed you
We were snuggling on the couch and by we I mean me and Els and we got photo bombed. They are both such goofs. I love this because Els seem oblivious to what her sister has done and I love the color of Hads eyes in this picture...they are some grey color. Her eyes really don't have a color, but this pictures shows that even more than normal.

One Monkey on a rope
This is a screen grab of an instagram post our gym made. Seriously, have you ever seen a cuter little monkey hanging from a rope?

What's hers is mine...
So random picture of feet right? Well this day had to be captured. This is the first time I raided my kids closet for shoes. They were a little small but that made the outfit. What's hers is mine, but what's mine really isn't hers!!!!!!

Picture Partners
The Sunday after Easter, we all dressed in what was suppose to be our Easter clothes, but because we stayed at the Horse show we didn't get to sport them. I wanted to take pictures, but I only had one willing participant. My curly haired diva decided to pull some major 'tude and wasn't having any of it. Els agreed to let her Daddy stand in as her picture partner.
Bless I love this little red head.

Beautiful bliss
We had a beautiful spring with fabulous temperatures, perfect for getting out and enjoying nature. We have been blessed with a beautiful walking trail less than a mile from our house. On this beautiful day we got out enjoyed the weather and got smoked by a little red head that loves nothing more than to get her run on.
We were out of town during our Church Easter Egg hunt at the horse show. So I promised the girls they could hunt their eggs even though Easter had passed. They had a blast. It really is the little things.
A good book, beautiful day, giggles in the distance....bliss.
Random neighbors cat, coming to join in the fun.

Just goofin' around
Goofy girls playing in the yard.
I posted this picture to IG, with the caption, "Please ignore the strange red head laying out in our yard if you are driving by our house." Seriously, she was laying out....

A horsin' we will go
The girls and I decided to take a road trip in April to see Uncle Rabbit at the Perry Fairgrounds. I had grand plans of us stopping at a food truck park in Atlanta, but traffic was absolutely horrible and I had to give up in search of something to eat, because at 1:00 we still were nowhere close.
I opted for Big Pie in the Sky, because when road tripping I like to eat at places I don't have at home. It was delish....DELISH!!!!
Some unsafe sleeping conditions right here, the unexpected traffic has her slap worn out
One of these girls absolutely loves the barn. One of these girls likes the idea of the barn, but you will see shortly, barn life probably won't be in her future.
Feeding treats to the big babies.
Giving Uncle Rabbit some love.
Photo bomb!!!
This right here is up this little ladies alley right here. We went into town to eat lunch and we passed a bookstore...she begged for us to go in, so she could find her some new books.
Skipping through town, not a care in the world.
When road tripping you must be prepared to randomly stop and get your picture taken with cool art.
Watching the pony getting dressed to show. They want in there so badly!!
Okay so this is totally random but the gentlemen on the railing closes to the horse, in the vest. That is Carson Kressley. He is a celebrity stylist and was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars. He apparently had horses and rides.
So someone had a really bad reaction at the barn....we are pretty sure she is allergic to something, hoping it isn't the horses.
I was in the bathroom and I heard my name and then I heard, "we can't find Ellison". Someone was playing around in the hotel room.
This one didn't fit nearly as well.

1000
Post 1000!! When I started this blogging thing, I didn't think I would stick with it for 1000 entries but here we are. I hope that one day the girls will look back and be able to recall some of these memories with the help of the blog.
Missing school events is not something I like to do AT ALL. However, the end of the year craziness, coupled with end of the year work craziness meant that there were some things I had to miss out on. I usually ask Wayne if he will step out and make an appearance and that is usually met with an I'll try, which makes me sad, because I want her to know we are there. He usually delivers so I'm not sure why he is so intent on aggravating me. I got treated to these little gems.
Our April was unseasonably cool, so that meant a beautiful day for an EGG hunt...here she is with the BFF (best friend forever) and the BF (boyfriend).

BARING IT ALL!!!!
Having kids in the age of technology without their own phones...means sometimes you get hacked. Mot of those are fun little selfies with peace signs and duck faces. So imagine my surprise when I discovered this little gem...it's a duck face selfie, but pretty sure it's a NAKED selfie....as she is in the bathroom about to get in the tub. Only THE READ HEAD, would take a NAKED self.

GO FIERCE OR GO HOME
Hadley went home with Gracie after Church...it's what the big girls want to do these days. Els is always disappointed that she doesn't get to go, so I decided to forego naps and do something a little different for her. We ate lunch, then got dressed and went to the park for a run. She had to do a pre run stretch....it really is the right thing to do, so you don't cramp up or anything. This little lady is solid gold JOY, 100% of the time.
We had to pause along the way and snap our twinsie shoes....she loves twinsie shoes!!!
FIERCE DETERMINATION
