Sparkles with a twist...

It's getting a little cooler and it is time for long pants and long sleeve shirts.  Red absolutely loved this little get up with it's twirly skirt.

 

 

I think she has taken to the whole picture taking thing, wouldn't you say?

 

We found a new brand of shoes, they are mismatched, they suit her so much.  They are every bit of her personality.  Sparkly with a twist, that is our little Red.

 

Hads wasn't feeling the pictures, someone else was.  Oh me, I love this picture, the sass!!!

Braves Game Part Two

I have more from the Brave's game.  The others were from my iphone, but there were a couple keepers in here that I wanted to document.  Picture #2....keeper!!!!

 

The Day after pictures

The day after pictures and she is still sporting some serious 'tude, Lala Loopsy made an appearance at Show N Tell too.  She wants to take Bitty Baby or Sara Beth everyday and I'm pretty sure her friends are over seeing them every Friday.

Picture Day

She is my little fashionista....she was born with it...Hadley is learning it, but this chick lives for it.  I mean her smile in the first one is probably solely because of the flower bracelet she is wearing.  When I asked her if she wanted to take clothes to change into after pictures, the answer was a very clear....NO.

I asked her to pose for me and I got her best smile, then she said wait and I got the standard....she is all peace out, I'm too cool for you.

I want to Remember her just like this....

Mom you forgot to curl your brains! (Insert bangs instead and you get what she means)

Oxi Pictures

It seems like there are so many picture days.  This chick a dee wanted a new outfit, so I pulled out some of her new fall clothes.  I was worried she would be crawling around on her knees during PE, so I made her change after pictures.  Little did I know that when I went to wash them, something black would get in the load and stain them to high heaven.  I think I have Oxi cleaned them and gotten it all out, but oh me.

 

Chop Chop

Aunt Mary wanted to take the girlies to a Braves game.  Considering Hadley's lack of understanding of the scoring, I figured it would be pretty entertaining.  I wasn't very confident that Ellison would sit still....and she didn't.  Before the completed the first inning she asked when we were going home.  I'm pretty sure I heard Aunt Mary explaining the scoring to Hads again, so my lesson clearly didn't stick.  Yep, that's my girl.  However, Ellison mastered her chop.  So cute...

 

 

 

Cousins....cousins

The girlies got to meet their cousins a couple of weeks ago.  Hadley was happy to see them, but usually isn't very interested in younger children.  Ellison was over the moon excited to meet her cousins.  I was a little concerned when they went to play, but Hadley did so awesome.  So motherly, watching out for Bella and Ellison.  I made sure to tell her how proud I was of her.

The girls have started playing with their dolls a lot...the really like doing hair.  That means new dos for me, because I have a lot more hair.  Not only is the do particularly awesome, but when they start fighting over my hair....that is really awesome!!!

So it wasn't dress up day....this is one of Hads old cheer uniforms, it didn't sell...It has been permanently attached to Ellison.  So when she asked to wear it to school...I said what the heck.

Ballet is going great...even better is what I see in my back seat after class...makes me smile every week.

 

She just needs a little time

So this one made her first trip to the Dentist.  The plan was for her to watch Hadley get her teeth cleaned, get her comfortable and then she should be good to go.  Wayne was running late though....show me your shocked face...so he wanted Els to go first.  She had gone the time before and watched Hadley so he didn't think it would be an issue.  She got in the chair for me fine, then the reality set in, that she wasn't sure what was going to happen and she began to tremble.  I tried to talk her down, but she wasn't having it.  She isn't one you can force in to doing something, if you do, you will be dealing with the fall out for months.

 

Wayne and Hadley arrived a few minutes after I had given up on coaxing her and we let Hadley go first.  She told Wayne she wasn't doing it the entire time Hadley was having her teeth cleaned.  Even as she was crawling back in the chair, she was saying she wasn't going to do it. 

 

She wasn't completely crazy about it and made sissy hold her hand for most of it....but she did it and I think she is my little rock star.

 

Flower Power

When Ms. Jessica asked her to be a flower girl, I wasn't sure if she would actually go through with it.  Although, she is a quite the firecracker, she gets quite shy when all eyes are on her.  After weeks of prep, and a bribe or 20....she performed her duties with amazing grace and poise, well beyond her three years.

 

 

Her KeKe offered up lots of encouragement too.

She was a flower girl in a friends wedding.  There will be more pictures coming....However, I had to share this.  She has really gotten in to dress up and all three of these were taken on the same day.
