I AM
8 months old
- I am wearing a size 3 diaper.
- I am wearing 6-12 month clothes.
- I am eating 5 ounces in the morning when I get up. Then I eat some oatmeal a couple hours later. I take another 5 ounce bottle around 11. Then I want to eat my fruit and veggies around 1. I take another 5 ounce bottle around 4. I eat more fruit and veggies around 6:30, then take my night cereal bottle at 8:00. It is usually 7 ounces. I use to hate to eat from a spoon, but I love it now and seem to prefer it over my bottles. I am starting to show less interest in those and I'm not getting as many as I use to.
- I am a great sleeper. Last month I kept waking Mommy up, but it was because I was sleeping in the crib next to her bed. She put me in my crib in mine and sis' room and I sleep from 8:30 - at least 6:30.
- I am not crawling. I try, but I get mad and start screaming. I really like to stand up and someone to hold my fingers and let me walk. I am probably going to be a late crawler like sis was (which is fine with mom)!
- I am a babblin' machine. I say "hi" alot and yesterday I called for my "mama" when I woke up.
- I am very laid back and chill, but underneath there is a temper that blows when I'm not getting the attention I think I am due.
- I am moving out of the infant room at school on August 2nd.
- I am still in love with my sister. I light up when she walks in the room.
- I am enjoying hanging out with Dad and sis this summer.

The Third Person
We are still having computer problems, so no pictures. I do have a funny I want to remember. Last night Hads was playing with our new phones, she was using one of the coloring book aps, sitting next to me on the couch. I hear her let out this huff, kind of shake the phone, hold her head and say, "Focus Hadley"!!!!! I'm not sure when she started referring to herself in the third person or when she realized she had a problem focusing, but I had to step out of the room so I could let my giggle out.

We have a little sickness
Our computer has caught a virus. It is currently in the ICU at our friend John's house. Our pictures are backed up so no worries there, our bank account isn't prepared for the loss here's hoping John can provide some life saving measures that will allow us to limp along for at least a little while.
I'm on my work laptop, so Mom envision an adorable red head playing in blocks and imagine red and curls riding Wayne double like he is a horse. Until we get our computer back, you will have to take my word for it, they are pretty stinkin' cute.

Closing out a long weekend
After our busy Saturday, we scaled it back Sunday. We went to Church, hung out at home and then went to watch the fireworks. Which were great this year!!!! The boys played a little football, the ladies chilled in chairs. My camera died about 5 minutes after we got there, so the extent of my pictures is pretty lame.

A GREAT day
We have had a great day and that is directly from Hadley. She only told me about two dozen times this morning we were going to have a great day. You see she has been asking to go see Toy Story 3 for a few weeks now and she has also been asking to have here ears pierced since we got back from the beach. Thinking that wouldn't be quite enough for one day, I decided we should go swimming too. As we were getting ready this morning, she kept coming up hugging me telling me, "it's going to be a great day." I found a couple of videos on Youtube people had posted of their daughters getting their ears pierced and the girls didn't make a peep. I showed them to Hads this morning, to make sure she was still interested and to let her know the experience didn't have to be dramatic. She did FANTASTIC. I have attached her video below.
Here she is before, sitting all big and proud.
A little bling going on. These were her third choice. Her first was Hello Kitty, second a crystal flower and then these. Didn't see Hello Kitty going with much and the crystal flowers looked cheap.

Toy Story 3 was great. Although, Hadley retelling the storyline makes me wonder how much she actually paid attention. For all I know she may have been sleeping behind her 3D glasses. My girl is getting brave this summer, hopefully that will translate to actual swimming without floats.
This picture cracks me up. She accidentally put her face in the water, it got her hat wet and it wouldn't stay out of her eyes after that.
