Alabama Thanksgiving

We went home to Alabama and I couldn't resist aggravating my sister.  At least that's what my Mom calls her.  I call her a terrorist...because that's what she is.  Doesn't she look so cute with the bow on her head?

A visit home to Alabama, means a visit to The Watfords'.  This girls always have a crazy good time with Wyatt.  They can go and go!!!!

Coloring it up

At work we did a project called Socks for Seniors.  We selected a senior living center and each resident received a bag with two pairs of fun socks, a candy cane and a card.  The cards were "coloring page" cards.  We could color them ourselves or we could get our family members involved.  I took a few home for the girlies to color.  They enjoyed doing something artsy and we got to talk to the girls about the importance of working in your community.

Special Girl, Special Day

The activity for the weekend did not end there, we had a pretty special Sunday planned.  Before we headed out the door, though, we had to pose for some pictures.

This one is getting baptized this morning, she could not have been more thrilled and we were over the moon happy for her.

Her daddy got to be there with her and Preacher Mitch too.

After the service, we were all standing around talking and she was busy reading the Bible she had been presented for the special day.

That afternoon running errands, she was so peace and chill, running errands.

At dinner, she was back to reading her Bible, so precious.

A little outing

The day after Ellison's birthday, Luci spent the night with us.  We took them to Bella Roma for dinner....I wonder if 10 years from know they will insist on having a picture on the lion as we leave.  Every time, the girls insist on this photo op.

When we got home, we got these precious girls bathed and snuggled up for a movie.  I mean a movie by Christmas lights is pretty cool.

After the movie, big sis read them a bedtime story.

The next morning, these sleepy heads had cookie for breakfast and Els had hers with a side of drugs (silly sinuses).

After breakfast, we got the girls ready and headed up to Chattanooga to the Creative Discovery Museum.  It was a hit and they loved every bit of it.  We literally raced around after them.

After the Museum, we at at Maple Street, it was pretty good, I have never eaten there before, so it was a nice treat.

I mean who doesn't want to save the turkeys...I sure love my turkeys.

After a full day with the kiddos, Wayne and I went out for a date!!!!  WHEW WHO, those don't happen very often.  We went and saw Jon Berry at our local Gem Theatre, he was pretty awesome!
