Ellison had pajama day at school last week.  She loved it.  I think her favorite part was wearing her slippers.

These boots were made for walking

One morning before Church, I wanted to get pictures of Ellison in her new boots.  What I got was a series of pictures that wasn't really stellar.  She is such a root tail tooter.  That one, once she gets something in her mind, there is no changing her mind.  She didn't want her picture made and there was no changing her mind.

Chick fil A Bowl

When I was downloading pictures, I realized how long it has been.  Pictures from New years Eve were still on the camera.  I had to do a double take because I didn't know what these pictures were from.  On New Years Eve; Wayne, Hadley and two friends went to the Chick fil A Bowl.  Hadley was so excited, she had a blast.  WAR EAGLE BABY!!!!!!!

Christmas morning.  I was pretty pumped.  Ellison is two, Hadley is six I just knew this was going to be the year they were over the top excited.  I mean great ages for Christmas, RIGHT????  Not the case with my two, they got in a fight over an apple.  Yep, an apple was the hit of their Christmas morning.  Santa always leaves them an apple in their stocking (Santa always left me an apple in my stocking too), one found her apple first, the other wanted it, a little tussle followed.  The excitement ended there as they were completely distracted by their apple and Santa's left over cookie.  I keep telling myself Wayne and as parents did a good job, because it wasn't about the presents for them.  Probably not the case, they were probably being girls and tired from our adventure and just having an off moment.  We had a blessed year and they have since played with their presents, so I know they appreciate them.

Surveying what Santa left from afar, while they eat.

I just knew this would send her over the edge happy.  It is a inflated hot dog with handles.

Back to eating the apple.

Games, what are these?  Actual games are kind of like a foreign language to kids today, what with all the iphones, itouchs, DS's, etc.

The scraps.

After opening presents we got ready and went to Church.  Then after Church we headed down to Wayne's sisters.

Um yeah, the dog wasn't a present, although both girls probably would have been over the top excited about that.  They just really like her, alot!!!

She gets this look alot, when Mickey and Minnie are involved.

Ornamental Memories

So I finally conceded that I was going to have to sit down and figure this blog thing out.  I have reluctantly paid $5.00 for additional photo storage.  The problem is I'm in the mindset to update the blog, but it says it will take an additional 24 hours before the space is available.  I had the below already uploaded and in draft.  So this will have to do, until I get in the right mindset again.  I am really not techy and the whole thing just aggravates me.  I'm the girl at work that coined the phrase that anything IS did was merely a clicky clicky save.  I know it's now true, but it's how my brain processes computer stuff.  Clicky clicky save, easy peasy lemon squeezy.

So this year as I was putting up the Christmas tree, I decided to take pictures of all the ornaments we had created.  I truly hope and pray this is not foreshadowing of some bad event that is going to destroy all my ornaments and merely a way to document the beautiful treasures we have created.  The first year Hadley was born, I decided every year we would create a family ornament together and she would create an ornament.  Now that Ellison is here, we let her create her own ornament too.  (Yes, I know some of the pictures of blurry.  I didn't realize it until just now and considering my current photo issues, I'm going to go with it.)
Our first Family Ornament 2005, our fingerprints created these adorable little snowmen.

2006 Family Ornament - Our Thumbprints created these sparkly reindeer.

2007 Family Ornament.  We clustered a bunch of our fingerprints at the top of each of our stockings.

2008 Family Ornament.  We used our Thumbprints and they created the super cute little elves!!!!

2009 Family Ornament Christmas.  Ellison's first Christmas with us.  We used her little footprint for the body of the Angel, my thumbprint for the top of the Angel wing, Hadley's thumbprint for the bottom of the Angel Wing, and Wayne's thumbprint for the Angel's head.

2010 Family Ornament.  The Year of the Auburn Tiger, WAR EAGLE.  It seemed only fitting to use our thumbprints to create Auby Tigers.

2011 Family Ornament, Wayne's thumbprint are the green of the wreath, my thumbprints are the red bow, Hadley's
thumbprints are the purple ornaments and Ellison's are the orange ornaments.

LOVE each and every one!!!
Ellison's First Christmas Ornament 2009 - 2 weeks old.  The tiniest little reindeer I have ever seen.
2010 Ellison's ornament.  Handprint reindeer.

2011 Ellison's Ornament.  Watch that sweet hand grow.

Ellison's three blessed years.
2005 Hadley's first Christmas.  Sweet footprint reindeer.

2006 Hadley's Ornament.  Watch that sweet foot grow into a bigger reindeer.

2007 Hadley's Ornament.  Love that reindeer foot.

2008 Hadley's Ornament.  Precious little hand elf.

2009 Hadley's Ornament.  Hand Bell.

2010 Hadley's Ornament.  Her thumbprints made into the shape of a cross.  With her favorite verse at the time.

2011 Hadley's Ornament.  Truly her own creation, self painted!!!
So many years of wonderful memories!!!
The bonus reindeer.  Hadley's creation from a Birthday party one year.
