Brace yourself

The day before her birthday (which she was none to pleased about) she took the next step in her braces journey.  She got her lowers.  Whew when she came out of that chair she was one ill puppy.  For some reason her discomfort and unhappiness was instant this time and she was fine in the days following.  I had to take her to another school for Reach and sent her G6 teacher apologizing for the horrible attitude that was about to rain down on her.  Of course she said she would baby and pet her, love how good they are to my girl.

I got a text the other day from Hadley's teacher last year.  I'm not gonna lie I snorted because I mean she has always struggled with being humble.  I mean your beloved use to be student...oh me..

 

I also love how she calls their location Hadley's room...Ummm it's Mr. Harper's classroom but whatever!!!

Sharing the LOVE, getting our valentines ready for all our friends.  Ellison is facetiming with BellBell and PawPaw showing them the sweet treat she got for her boyfriend, Aiden.  Yes, they are kisses and she couldn't have been more thrilled.  Young love it cute in PreK....pretty sure it won't be in a couple years.

 

Read to ME

Reading to Red...she has been all about the books lately and I'm loving it.  It's something her sister doesn't mind doing for her either....for the win...SISTERLY LOVE!!!!!

Ellison has learned to write her name in cursive...she taught herself.  Not too shabby.

 

Time for some chocolate ladies

Time for our annual run for chocolate.  I wish I could say I had been looking forward to it this year, but I was so incredibly sick.  Sicker than I had been for several years.  Lori Lynn and I ended up walking more than we ran, and it was rough.  I was so doped up on all my cold medicine I may have floated the entire course.

 

 

Shopping the day before the race...the largest rice krispie I have ever seen, it was at least two of my head.
