You talking to ME?

I could eat her up and pinch her in two all within seconds of each other.  Today has been one of those pinch her in two kind of days.  The red headed fiery stubbornness has been in overdrive today and she has seriously almost broken me several times.  By broken I mean, crying in the corner fetal position, broken.  Looking at the grown up little lady in this picture, I know that today is only a preview of the fun.times.to.come!!!!!!

 

 

It's only FAIR!!!!!

Hadley had to perform at the fair with her cheer team  one night.  She has started to pick up a few new skills so Wayne and I are a little more encouraged that we aren't just throwing money to the wind.  To say she has been less than enthused about focusing but insistent that she participate would be an understatement. 

 

 

After Hadley's performance we walked around the fairgrounds.  This was absolutely priceless.  As we approached the barn, this was Ellison's face.  I wish I would have recorded her disgust at the smell of the barn.  To be my outdoors girl, she is very particular about smells.

This girl is finally starting to show some interest in clothes and styling.  She rocked this outfit like no body's business.  She certainly has the sass to pull it off.

 

A Tennessee Sunday night

We got the call that Stacia and Scott were going to be at Ms. JoAnn's and we had to go visit.  It was a great evening cornhole (aside from the Tennessee cornhole decks).  The girls had such a good time playing, Ellison made a new friend.  A baby, she was in love.  That girl loves her some babies.  Still getting through the sketchy cell phone pictures....

Have you ever been really comfortable in bed?  Have you ever been this comfortable in bed?  This little lady is like her Mama and loves her some shut eye, isn't a morning person and likes to lounge in bed.  Yep, I claim this one!!!!

Hadley thinks the treadmill is a toy and is always asking if she can run on it.  The other night before my run, I let her lace up and give it a spin.  Much to my surprise, she went for several minutes before she slowed down to walk.  Then she went at it again for several minutes.  I don't think she will maintain an interest long term the girl isn't crazy about breaking a sweat.

While in the car the other day, I got issued a demand.  Actually, I get multiple demands every day when we are in the car.  This particular demand made me laugh.  In the most motherly voice she could muster, she told me to "turn my radio DOWN."  "It is waking up my baby!"  She was holding her close, shhing to her.  I mean the nerve of me, listening to the radio at such a volume as to disturb the BABY!!!! 

So what strikes you as the funniest about this picture?  We are at the gas station, a truck stop.....

....yep chicken strutting around the parking lot.  Probably escaped his impending death from a chicken truck and was on a layover at the truck stop.  Oh you don't think that is the funniest thing....the sequins on my head.  Well I don't know, I just put it on for fun.  The guy at the pump next to us thought I was a nut job.  He said something to Wayne, don't remember what, I heard Wayne tell him I was probably embarrassed, so I turned and waved at the dude.  Takes more then sequins on my head in the country to make me embarrassed!!!!

Multi, Multi, Multi tasking!!!

Day Three of school, guess who had a stomach bug??  It was slap back to reality of the germ infested little critter pool.  Ellison goes to daycare out of town because I work out of town.  It didn't make sense to put Hads in the car, when she wasn't holding anything down, so I had both of them and I needed to get some work done too.

 

Nothing like taking care of a big girl with a stomach bug, feeding baby girl and working on the computer at the same time.  The life of a MOM!

Do you hear that?

Just to let you know I have once again fallen prey to the horrible blogger syndrome.  This time though it extends to my camera use too.  Not only have I not been blogging but I have not been taking "real" pictures either.  This makes me a little sad because this means there is a good couple weeks that aren't documented.  I did still take some pictures with my phone camera.  So excuse the horrible quality of these next few posts as I have uploaded my phone pictures and will attempt to document a little of the last few weeks, so that I know two years ago we were still kicking it the last week of August and first week of September 2012!!!!

 

A few weeks ago Wayne and I had a date night.  Not just a date night, but a double date night with Bryan and Keisha!  It was so FUN!!!!  I cut my food and my food alone and the only whining I heard, well guess what I didn't hear any!!!!  We went to dinner and there wasn't really anything playing at the movies, so we went bowling!  Yep, that was entertaining and I mean for the people watching us try and bowl :)

Do you know what this picture means?  It means we have missed our window.  I mean she is so addicted she is having withdrawals and attempting very poorly to hide what she is doing.  We were watching TV and she said she was getting up to get her blanket.  She came back like this, with her paci so discreetly hidden.  I mean I would never in a million years there is a paci under there would you.  She is down to taking her paci during nap and bedtime, but every once in a while she will do this.  I think it is more to get a rise out of Wayne and I, however I'm not sure whether to say Oh MY, or Oh ME.  She is a red headed stinker tail!
