Sweet Friends

Hadley's friend Bek couldn't make it to her birthday celebration due to being sick...so she came to spend the night with use later in the month.  It just so happened that Zootopia was out and we were all wanting to see it...I'm not a cartoon person, but it was a pretty cute one.

A Night out on the Town

Our quartet from Church was singing at a local Theatre that has been refurbished.  It is really beautiful, Wayne and I have been to several events there, but the girls had never been.  As you can see they were completely dignified and acted like refined little ladies....NOT.  I took them up in the balcony to see the view and explain the history of the balcony and they kept wanting to go back up there.

Every once in a while, they get a special treat.  It has usually peeled off by the time we get home, but it's worth the smiles....

It's all GOLDEN

Hads celebrated her Golden birthday this year...which she told us repeatedly.  Since she got roller blades for Christmas, she requested a skate excursion with a few friends.  While they had fun, I don't think the skating thing was quite as easy as they thought it would be.  There were many falls, trips and stumbles, but there were equally as many giggles and good times.

This one right here, she is fierce.....bless,..she fell and stumbled so much...and was just really discouraged, but she kept after it and all the falls seemed to make her even more determined.  Once she got her skate helper, she was off to the races.  She literally zipped all  over the rink.  I loved seeing that determined streak take over and her see success in a tough situation.

Young LOVE

Valentine's Day was a big deal for Els this year.  Her precious little friend who she called her boyfriend for a brief time, spoiled her like crazy on the day of LOVE.  She got a necklace, earrings, chocolate and a teddy bear.  Wayne and I went out the night she got all her loot and when we got home, the girls said she had made a pallet all on her own and fallen asleep with her precious teddy bear.

Walk this WAY

Aunt Mary wanted to take the girls to a show at The Fox, the girls were excited to say the least.  Ellison was so excited, that she thought she could walk there faster than we could drive her.  When we got to the start of Aunt Mary's subdivision, she wanted to get out and walk, so we put her out.  She has no since of distance, no idea how far she had to go.

Red Bud's Got Talent

These girls practiced their routine for months.  They were so excited to perform their routing for the school talent show in their matching outfits.  "Be Real" was the name of their group.  They asked me to do their make up, which turned into me doing the make up of several of their friends and Ellison too.

Ellison and her precious little friend Jada, seriously I don't know that there are two more precious friends.  They never bicker of squabble, they are the sweetest most loving little friends.

Seriously folks....everyday...this is her 24/7.  She loves her some Phoenix basketball, so when the girls offered to paint her face, she was all in.  This text from Wayne made me smile.
