Sweet Dreams

Babydoll has had a pretty rough weekend. We have had trouble breaking her fever, which has run between 101-102 all weekend, even with Tylenol every 4 hours and cool baths in the vapor bath. She hasn't been fussy, but it sure is pitiful, just watching her lay there and wimper. The dimples have been few and far between. We have figured out that the breathing treatments are best without the mask. Here's hoping she has a restful night.

Full of Sass

Sick baby

Yesterday Ms. Ellison woke up with a fever about 3AM. So she got to hang out with her Daddy yesterday. Seems he is always in a classroom of sorts, he thought it was time to teach Ellison to hold her own bottle. They apparently had a great day, she is a content baby like her sister was when she is sick. By the time I got home she had started coughing constantly and the rattling in her chest had come back. She really didn't rest well last night and Wayne has taken her back to the doctor this morning. She is really pitiful, not her usual smiley self, she just kind of lays there and looks at you. We are suppose to take the girls for their 3 month and 5 year pictures at lunch, here's hoping that Ms. Ellison is feeling well enough.

UPDATE: Ellison Ann has double ear infections and bronchitis, she has a new antibiotic and is on breathing treatments. She got her first treatment in the office and you could already tell a big difference in her breathing. We attempted pictures we will see how they turn out. I am about to give her the second breathing treatment and I think we will stay home for the rest of the weekend.

Tickle Me

Have you ever heard of this stuff, it is pretty good stuff?

I had to go pick bitty bit up at school this morning. All the drainage is causing her to projectile more than usual. The daycare thinks it is a bug, but it is just Ellison and her gag reflex, the girl can go yard. When she gets choked up you better get out of the way. After we got home I gave her a bath with this stuff, it tickled her nose and she started sneezing out some of that junk that is causing her to get choked up. The doctor is calling her in an oral steroid, since the antibiotic is working on it's own. I sure hope it helps, she is pitiful all stopped up.

Play time

I spent a lot of time hanging out with Dad this weekend. Mommy was sick and she didn't want to make me any worse. As you can see we had so much fun on my activity mat. I give that stuffed monkey heck, pulling on it. I have really started grabbing and holding on to things, I started snuggling with my bunny this weekend. The boppy picture would make you think I like tummy time, but I don't, it makes me very angry.

Too much hype

This was my first week at Daycare, this is me on my first day. I'm not all that crazy about daycare right now, I think mommy talked it up and it wasn't all the hype she made it out to be. First of all I have to get up really early and I like to sleep in. Then there are eleven other screaming babies there that I have to compete for attention with. Then they don't have the type of bouncy seat I like. At the end of each day I am exhausted. Next week will be my first full week, I only went three half days and two whole days this week. Mommy says I cute the place up though and to give it a chance, that sissy loved school.

Here's hoping they pet me this week. I'm not feeling all that great. Mommy had to take me to the doctor this week and I have a sinus infection. They put me on some medicine, but I just spit it out and smile at Mommy when she gives it to me. Sissy is still sick too, we don't think she will every quit hacking and sniffling and now Mommy has it too.

PawPaw: I'm off to bed, I have to get my beauty rest.
Hadley: But you'd have to sleep for like a month?
PawPaw: (laugh)
Hadley: Oh no, you'd have to sleep for a year!!!!

Hadley: I WANT to go home IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!

Hadley: When are we going home?
Me: Quit asking
Hadley: But when are we going home?
Me: When we go home.
Hadley: (Throws herself back in her seat, throws her arm over her forhead) But my head is killing me!!!!!

I AM

I AM three months old today

• I am starting to wear 3-6 month clothing.
• I am wearing size 1 diapers.
• I am eating 4 ounces every 3 hours, but eat my ceral bottle now at 9:00 at night and then sleep till 6:00 the next morning.
• I am still a snuggle bug.
• I am content as long as you move me around alot. I like variety
• I am officially a thumb sucker!
• I am a great traveler.
• I am now full time in daycare :(!!

Silly Stories

Hads likes for her Daddy to make up crazy bed time stories. The other night we had to slip in there to get something of Ellison's and we decided to join in. I think Ellison thinks her Daddy and Hads are pretty silly.

Curls and Red

Hadley has been begging me to let her have a bath with Ellison. I have been stalling not quite sure how it would work, since Ellison is still in her baby bath tub. I finally gave in, put Ellison in her baby tub in the big tub, then filled the big tub up. Hadley helped me soap her up and sweet talked her. Ellison was totally over it when I had to give Hads her bath, she was either scared of what was going on or not liking me giving attention to someone else. Then what to do with two wet kids at the same time. I couldn't lotion and dress them at the same time and they were both freezing. So we had to call in reinforcements, DADDY!!!!!!

Lovely Ladies

Hope everyone had a lovely Valentines Day. These are the girls in their Valentines Day dresses their BellBell made. It is actually the reverse side of their Christmas dresses. I really want to pose them better so you can see more of the dresses, but you learn quickly with a newborn, take what you get. Or as Hads would say, "you get what you get and you don't pitch a fit."

Don't leave me!!!

I sure am going to miss our early morning snuggling, sleeping in, afternoon snuggling and afternoon naps. Today was the last day of my maternity leave and Monday we start a new adventure, daycare. I took her by to visit yesterday and she was in awe of all the babies, she didn't know what to think. I know where I will be spending my lunch hour!!! Sure would be fun to meet another nice mommy like I did on my lunch visits with Hads. Colleen it seems like yesterday!!!!

The birthday celebration

The birthday celebrations part deux. Today we took cupcakes to Hadley's class for her birthday. The cupcakes are compliments of Nana Vicki (you rock, so cool that all I had to do was ice the cupcakes)!!!!
The icing compliments of BellBell, nummy nummy. Hadley licked the beater when I iced the cupcakes and she loved it.

Evidence of the numminess!!! Once she had licked all the icing off the top, she then began taking bites out of the middle of the cupcake until she had devoured it. You can't beat chocolate cupcakes with chocolate icing.

Tonight we let Hadley pick where she wanted to eat. She initially picked Chick fil A, but then with some prompting from her Daddy she picked Red Lobster. It is one of her favorites and below is the reason why it is one of her favorites. Shrimp scampi, she could eat her weight in it.

I couldn't imagine

Happy Birthday sweet girl. We can hardly believe it has been 5 years since you came busting into our life. I couldn't imagine a day without your chatter, how boring a quiet house was. I couldn't imagine a day without that infectious laugh, how depressed we must have been. I couldn't imagine a day without that drama, how we needed to be entertained. I couldn't imagine a day without seeing that fabulous smile, how it makes the day a little brighter. We love you so very much!!!!

A whole head is overrated.

Hadley got a camera from her Nana Vicki and Dr. Tim. Below is a grouping of her first work. We call this grouping, "A whole head is overrated"!!!! I'm pretty sure one day the collection will be worth a fortune!!!

Bath time

Someone loves her bath, smiles and kicks has so much fun. As soon as I go to take a picture of that dimpled grin, she sees the strobe, the flash goes off and I capture this uncertain stare.

As much as she loves her bath, some things remain the same, she hates being naked!!!!

Look closely at the new do, she has enough hair for a mohawk. If she were a little boy, she would so be sporting a little red headed mohawk.

But she isn't a boy, she is my sweet red headed baby girl, so we will use that mohawk to hold a sweet pink bow. No dimpled grin on this one, totally not amused.
