For the HOUSE

This whole shopping for the house thing has us acting a little cray cray!!!!  

These are a few of the "finds" I began my painting journey on!!!  I found a dresser at an antique store and distressed it, then found two end tables and a coffee table and painted them to match....it began my obsession!!

Thankful for our next door neighbor and friend that let me use her garage to paint it up, since we haven't closed on the house yet.

They don't know how to behave....

Cousins

These aren't the best pictures, but the same weekend that the girls went to The Fox and Wayne got to pretend he was a Nascar driver, the girls got to meet one of their cousins from Taiwan.  The girls loved Christine, she was absolutely precious to them.

My Race Car Driver

While the girls were off seeing the WIZARD...Wayne and I had a date so to speak.  He had so much fun riding in the race car last year, I bought him a ticket to drive the race car.  He was thrilled, I was HOT!!!  It's HOT Lanta and it's June!!!

These precious girls are quite rotten.  Their Aunt Mary and Aunt Jana wanted to take them to see The Wizard of Oz at the Fox...they don't know how to strike a pose or anything to they?

I need a vacation

Our Children's leaders are quite ambitions.  We come back from Camp and have vacation bible school the following week.  There truly is no rest for the weary.  I snapped a couple of pictures the night Ellison took a friend.  Here Ellison is drilling the boys challenging them to push ups.

This is the last night of VBS and we decided to treat the kiddos to a little Dairy Queen, can you tell they are a little giddy...maybe a lot tired too...but definitely thrilled for some ice cream!!!

United we TRIKE

Our United Way has a relay trike race, where the leaders in our community compete against each other.  This year at work they had a competition between all associates to see who would be on our CEO's relay team.  While I had a respectable time...I didn't make the cut...it probably didn't help seeing someone wipe out on the asphalt right before I rode.

I decided to take a spin through the office to drum up some participation.  How cute is this MEGA trike???

What's old is new

Wayne and I were discussing ideas for the new house and I shared with him a vision I had for a ship lap type wall (Thank you JoAnna Gaines).  He set about making that vision a reality and found some old wood.  He took me by to scope it out and it had promise....I can't wait to see how it turns out.

Lazy Pool Days

Easing back into reality means a day at the pool with friends.  These two precious girls are two kindred spirits, love their sweet hearts and contagious joy.

When it was time for lunch, I looked over and Els and Charlie had separated themselves from everyone else, I think they may have been on a date.

Shop till you drop

We are all back home now and it is time to get busy getting the house ready.  We will be moving....AGAIN....soon.  We get up bright and early and head to Woodstock Furniture Mall and I'm obsessed...these all will be making their way home with me. 

One of us is thrilled, the other not so much!!!  HEHE!!!

Farm Life

So while the big girl and I were at CentriKid camp, Wayne took Ellison down to my Uncle's horse farm in South Florida.  To say she was in Heaven would be an understatement.  This girl loves her animals.  

Their first morning I get this picture bright and early, she and Maggie the Lab are down at the barn ready to ride.

The second morning they are at my Uncles she is in for a surprise.  Wayne snapped this picture while they are en route to said surprise...which she doesn't know what it is yet.  She is still proudly sporting her stuffed animal that she got from the nice waitress and the restaurant the day before.

When in South Florida with kiddos, there is one place you must visit!!!!!

Here they are on the tram into the park!!!!  Wayne's look...priceless...what the heck have I agreed to...it is South Florida....in June....at Disney World with a 6 year old by myself!!!!  BAhahaa!!!

On their way into the park...Wayne is already a hot mess of sweat and he isn't an hour in...Els is just getting started!!!

I got all these sweet pictures throughout their time at the park and while I was sad I didn't get to experience the park with her, what great memories she and her Daddy made.  Also, keep in mind while I'm getting these throughout the day, I am being careful to  make sure Hadley doesn't know.  Because while she was having a blast at Camp, I mean Disney World is pretty cool too...I didn't want it to spoil her fun that she was missing out.

The next morning, she is back at the barn bright and early!!!

She got to have fun, but she also had to work some too.  If you are gonna ride, you have to take care of the horse and clean them up after!!!

These are two of her favorite ladies...Ms. Linda and Spider.  Ms. Linda let her ride in the buggy when she was driving Spider and she was absolutely giddy to say the least.

This picture cracks me up...Wayne made her come back to the house to cool off and he said she wasn't in any time, before she was begging to go back to the barn.
