Love Ya, right now

These two love each other so much, but they are starting to bicker and fight.  I'll take these moments over the other any day.

Ball Day

We went to the ball field today.  It was warm, but we were so grateful for the shade.  I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have lasted very long at all had we not been under the awning.  The red head turns 5 different shades of red if she gets the least bit warm.

TIRED

We have had VBS this week, we are tired.  Ellison's many personalities have started coming out.  She has been a little loopy.  I tried to upload these earlier in the week, because someone was giving me a really hard time about posting food pictures, but we were having computer issues.  So if they could include a computer with the camera I requested that would be great.

Focaccia

fo'katt[a] = yummy!!!  I cooked and it was pretty good.  We both had some suggestions for next time, but it was one worth repeating.  Focaccia is italian snack bread and you can put all kinds of toppings on it.

We are party hoppers

Saturday we did a little party hopping.  Hads and Els has a birthday party to attend together.  Then later Els had a party to attend for one of her former teachers little girl.  We didn't realize it, but the second party would be a little mini reunion for Els.  She got to see several of her former classmates.  She recognized everyone and just clung to all the parents and her old teacher.  She even took up with random strangers, which is par for the course for her.

The park for the second party was this hidden treasure, I never knew was there!!!  It is this awesome wooden playground, completely surrounded by trees.  It was about 10 degrees cooler playing on that playground.

Hello, here is Hadley

This was taken last weekend.  We got to enjoy some pool time at a friends house.  I haven't had any Hadleyism's in a while, but we have a couple of recent ones I want to remember.  Today at Church we were having lunch, I had already warned Hadley to sit down in her chair while she eats.  (Has anyone else experienced the 6 year old dance around the chair while we eat stage?)  Well, she stood up again and I told her that was one.  She asked if we could go in the bathroom to get her spanking and I agreed.  When we got in the bathroom, I popped her little fanny.  She turned around and had a death grip on her lips.  She let go of them, and told me "Mommy I didn't cry one bit, because I held it in.  Oh, Mommy I love your shoes, they are so pretty."  Yeah!!!! missed parenting opportunity!  Then today we went out to run a few errands and pick up a few things we needed.  After picking up a few things, while in RiteAid, Hadley let me know that she thought we should get something for her Daddy.  I asked her what she would like to get him and she informed me Halls cough drops.  Seriously, you know your husband has an addiction, when his 6 year old wants to buy that for him as a treat.

It's whats for dinner....NOTHING!!!!!  Saturday, this little lady, saw that there was activity going on in the kitchen and she thought lunch should be on the table right then.  She wasn't interested in giving us time to make it and got really mad when it wasn't ready.

She has started sitting some at the table like a big girl.  She does really well, probably better than in her high chair.

Friday Ellison went to the Allergist, thankfully, she isn't allergic to the general pediatric panel they do.  So that hopefully means she will outgrow all this sickness she has been having and won't be anything she will care with her long term.  The downside, being on antibiotics since JANUARY!!!!

I wanted to take a couple of  pictures of Hadley.  Someone decided she wanted her picture taken.  Go stinkin figure.  Then someone decided to bring all her cute out for everyone to see.  Wayne has taught her to wink, when she scrunches her nose up, she thinks she is winking.
