After Els performance, I left her at school and drove down to Hads school. They were suppose to be having Field Day, but it started raining....so they were watching movies. I snapped a picture, but I really didn't need to stay to watch them watch a movie. I had taken a vacation day so I was going to make the most of it....I went shopping!!!! WHOOT WHOOT!!!!

Letting it GO
I am in serious denial that this little lady won't be in preschool anymore. We got all dolled up for our final performance, complete with Elsa/Anna "Frozen" necklace. She rocked her last performance like nobody's business. She was smiling, dancing, moving and singing, my heart just about burst then my eyes might have watered a lot.
This is Els and two of her buds, Sophia and Joslyn. Jos is the other Red Head in the class and she isn't quite as keen on having her picture taken as our Red.
We LOVE our teacher Ms. Holly.

Mean Mommy
Sissy had her 3rd Grade Awards Day and this little DIVA didn't understand why she had to go. She wanted to know why I wouldn't take her to school first. Such a good support this one....WHEW!!!!
Hads all grown up, can't believe how that haircut changed her look.
Hadley getting her award. Bless...yes that is a classmate standing next to her, more than two heads taller than her, she really is a shorty.
Before I left, she got really upset with me because I was a Mean Mommy and I wouldn't check her out of school. See a lot of her classmates get checked out after Awards Day, but this Mommy had to go to work. So I got the pitiful pouty lips and cold shoulder. I wasn't back at work 30 minutes and I got a text from her teacher. It had this picture, seems Hadley was still really broken up about being left. She really is a BRAT sometimes!!!!!

Someone's been sleeping in my bed
Something about sleeping babies...absolute BLISS.
Especially when that baby is snuggled up in your bed for no reason.

You gotta know when to fold them
This little lady has learned to play cards and to say she is obsessed would be an understatement. To say she is pretty good for a 4 year would really be an understatement. To top that cake off, she is more than slightly competitive.

Her mark is Joy...
When I got this note from one of the helpers in Ellison's dance class. I had to snap a picture so that I would have it forever. Ellison absolutely adores Taylor Kate. Looks like Taylor Kate got to know our independent charming spirited Red Head pretty well. She truly does leave a mark on everyone she meets.

Runner Runner
A friend snapped this of me in the Bill Gregory Classic. We had a large group from our Division participate in the race and Shaw actually won the group award for largest participation.

Not one little bit
The girls had company coming over, while Mommy went out for a girls night. I walked through the computer room and found Els like this. Her choice of a step stool isn't very conventional, but it apparently gave her just the boost she was looking for.
While I was out on my girls night, I got these from Wayne, I would say the girls didn't miss me one bit. Would you?
Then when I got home I found these on the camera, I was certain they didn't miss me at all......

Bouncy Hair Don't Care
After we got Hads hair cut, I figured since we were all together and in relatively good moods we could go do something fun. I told the girls they could pick a fun activity. I fully expected them to pick ice cream. I was really surprised when they asked me to take them to the mall and let them jump. They had the best time , and those smiles were priceless.

Locks of Love
This has been a work in progress for over 3 years. She has beautiful hair and some little one, battling cancer will get to enjoy these beautiful curls (normally curly). The morning of her appointment, I straightened it and pulled it back. She was all smiles going in.
The realization of what is about to happen is starting to set in.
We are getting really quiet and don't want to be looked at.
We think if we aren't looking, we won't know what is happening.
This is her, "I'm totally about to bust out crying face." The tears are litterally filling those eyes.
And there she goes, and there it goes.
It didn't last as long as I was expecting. That's a pretty drastic change for a young lady and she handled it beautifully.
Now, Ms. Ally gets to work shaping everything up.
Ms. Ally is picking at her and she is rolling her eyes, clearly not amused.
This one, oy. She got her hair trimmed and was totally in the peanut gallery on this day. Coaching Hads along.
The final product, wow how she just grew up in less than an hour.
