You can never be too prepared

 

NEVER too....I took the girls out to eat a few weeks ago, and before we left the restaurant Els started acting weird...then she said she felt sick to her stomach...uhh we have to drive 45 minutes, I really don't want that in my car.  I asked for a cup just in case she got sick...red took it to a whole other level..God bless her.  She seriously fell asleep like that.  I had to ask Hadley to take it off of her.

 

A Bridge

I think she is smart, but I'm a little biased.  We have always said she was street smart, because she doesn't miss anything that is going on in the world around her.  Love that she is going to get to channel some of that energy.

 

Learning to write

I love school artwork....sadly I can't keep it all, so I take pictures of some of it.   I love watching their learning develop...I went to the fall festival.  She has alot of the sounds correct, the spelling will come later.  Look at that little red head on top of the bouncy house coming down the slide.

 

Happy Accident

I am not a talented bradier, so when I was asked to do two french braids, there was a high probability it would look like a disaster.  I was shocked when it actually turned out to be something that could be worn outside of the house.  It should be noted that my second attempt did not turn out nearly as well and didn't warrant a photograph.

She is an awesome travel buddy, she is telling me how much she rocks....this looks totally unsafe and we are stopped, because HELLO she isn't even buckled!!!!

#1 Pumpkins

As soon as the horse show was over Saturday night, Els and I headed back home from Decatur, Alabama.  We hadn't made our annual trek to Burts Pumpkin Farm and Wayne was out of town for the next two weekends.  We were either going to go Sunday or not at all and not at all really wasn't an option.  It's a 10 year tradition.

 

Apparently, we like to pose by scary Halloween decorations...not my kids for sure.

 

 

Ummm seriously, of all the pictures I took on the camera...a random phone picture is my favorite.  I have genuine smiles going on right here.  The picture taking portion is not their favorite.

 

 

We aren't sure why all the Auburn fans are holding up their index fingers and looking all straight faced, but we decided to try it....Hadley's expression is on point.

So this picture is hilarious....Hadley's face....she is quite worried a yellow jacket was swarming around my hand, she thought I was about to get bitten, but not before I got the shot off.

October 9th, 2015

It was one of those weekends where I'm not sure if I remembered to breathe...it was a whirlwind.  The girls wanted a dog....we had told them no....Wayne got them a Bearded Dragon...meet Lucy...I'm not even sure how it happened.  A month later and I'm still at a loss, needless to say Lucy and I aren't really friends. 

 

 

At school that day Ellison lost her first tooth.  She dictated this letter to her sister...

Ellison and I headed out of town as soon as school was out, to see Uncle Rabbitt at the horse show.  Here is is standing behind a cool water wall...love that smiling red head.

 

I think this may be the real reason she loves going to the horse show...her name is Spider and Ellison LOVES her.

FAMILY DAY

Weagle Weagle, it's no secret we love us some Auburn Tigers...we enjoyed our first game of the season as a family of 4.  It's unusual that Hads wants to go, but go she did and she seemed to actually enjoy herself.

It was while she was cheering loudly in my face that I made this discovery.  If the baby teeth won't come out, the big teeth will just com in anyway.

My girl...ummm I mean my girls

I was standing in a teachers classroom, watching her about to go in the library.  I watched her for several minutes before her eyes scanned my direction, but as soon as they didn't the recognition was instant and she was not happy she couldn't get to me.  God love my little red head....do you see her...I was quite a ways from her.

 

 

I was at the school to see this...I mean it isn't everyday your husband cross dresses...sadly it isn't the first time and I'm sure it won't be the last.  He doesn't take himself very seriously and when it's for the kids, he's in.  The kids were challenge to bring funds for United Way and Wayne was the winner...er loser...not sure which you would call it.  Going in, they had all agreed to participate.

 

This one was mortified...like burying her head in her pillow mortified.  I'm pretty sure it won't be the last time her Daddy embarrasses her.  Bless it.

 

My little bunnies

Their love is fleeting...it's like the wind.  You never know which way it's gonna blow or which sisters you are gonna get.  The night before there were tears and tons of drama because their PJ's matched and they had bunnies on them.  I got quite upset, because they don't sleep in PJ's and I had to make a special trip to buy them, so they would have PJ's for PJ day...the next morning the wind had changed directions and they were all hugs and smiles.
