The first Celebration

LOVE ME some red head.  The Wednesday before her actual birthday, we took breakfast and an afternoon snack of purple cupcakes to school for her to celebrate her special day.  She was so proud to take a snack, have everyone sing to her and wish her blessings.  The teachers went around the room and had each of the kids wish a blessing on her.  It was so sweet a couple of the older kids really got it, one wished health on her and another wished her a happy day.

Rock IT, Pose IT

Someone had a cheer performance and she rocked it.  Always the poser, the uniform amps it up a notch or two.

Clash of the DIVAS

I snapped a couple of pictures of the girls the other Sunday before Church.  Their outfits clash about like their personalities do these days.  They know how to push each other's buttons and they do it regularly, much to the dismay of their parents.

Trick or NOT

So we have established that I'm not a big Halloween fan.  I had a request for Tinkerbell and a Ninja.  Not having any hand me downs for Hadley I had a challenge to fill the Ninja request.  We didn't really plan to take the girls trick or treating, but Hadley had a party in her gym class.  I bought $4 in felt and went to work.  Not to shabby for $4 bucks.  We were invited to a fall party on the 31st, so the girls got to dress up for that too.  Wayne took the girls around in their neighborhood and they got their fill of trick or treating, while their Mama got to stay inside in the warmth.

Tinker NOT

She wanted to be Tinkerbell, but her cheap Mama who isn’t really a fan of Halloween, made her wear a recycled costume.  She was the cutest little Mickey Mouse doctor ever.  She went with the flow and totally saved me from spending $25.00 bucks on a paper costume that would have been in shreds and served no purpose after that one day.  Call me horrible if you will, just not a fan of the big Halloween thing.
