LOVE me some girl time

I had to work ALOT over the holidays...which was sad, because my crew was home.  So at the end of the holiday season, when Wayne had to go back to work for an in service day and we didn't have anyone to watch the girlies, I took the day off and we had some much needed girl time...LOVE (unknowingly both of their shirts say love).  We went to McKay's bookstore, to get Hads some reading material.  Then we went and had a girls only lunch.  Then rounded out the trip with a stop at Target where they got to spend their Target gift cards they got for Christmas.  I had some pretty happy girlies.

 

 

I asked the girls to take a selfie with me and they let me know this wasn't a selfie, this was an usie!!!!

 

This little poser didn't want to try on this jacket...but in my opinion it is totally her.

Just a couple candids....they are one of my favorites.

 

Do you spot the creeper in this picture....yep, one of her absolute favorite spots is behind the cushions of this couch...not sure what she is gonna do when this couch wears out. 

 

 

 

They are perfectly content to soak in the tub and watch the iPad with the lights off.

When she asks me why she can't pick out her own clothes...I will tell her to refer to this picture.  She put these shoes on again....and wore them for two hours.  At least.  I had to pry them off her feet again!!!

 

 

A Merry Christmas morning

Santa came and he rode in on a beat.  He brought the beats and an American Girl horse that is.  Needless to say...those are some pretty happy smiles.

These shoes were a late add and totally the hit of Christmas.  Red had been asking for these shoes for months, because she wanted twinsie shoes to her Mommy.  If I wear mine, she wants her on.  Love my little red head.

 

Hadley opening her presents from Elsie Bop, a fab scrarf!!!  I have total scarf envy.

 

Then we facetimed with BellBell and PawPaw while we opened their gifts....and ummm they were....

 

.....excited...because hello what girl doesn't like TOMS!!!!!

She wore them for two hours people...I had to make her take them off!!!!

 

One of her favorite parts are the apples that are in her stocking every year...she seriously looks forward to it every year.
