Cut to the next day and we have a Chorus performance, but we aren't feeling well at all, her allergies have kicked into high gear. Her voice kind of cracked, although she recovered well, she didn't care, she lost it and she was out, after these three pics. Bless sometimes it's hard to power through when you are 10, that is something that only years will help you with.

The Wallflowers
Chorus Field Trip....whoot whoot!!!! It went about like I expected...Chorus went to see The Nutcracker...granted it was a condensed show, but not many 4th & 5th grade boys and girls appreciate the ballet. Hadley 5 minutes in was slumped in her seat and ready to leave. I kept telling her sit up, sit up. Becca's Mom and I decided on a whim to check the girls out and take them to lunch at Mellow Mushroom. On the way home the convinced us to stop at Target. It really is too bad, these two are such wallflowers!

Let's get this party started
One of the kick offs for the Holiday Season are the local kids choirs going to area banks and Walmart, to sing for Toys for Tots in support of United Way. Sadly for my girl, I'm pretty sure will for the rest of her life be a front row participant. These are 4th and 5th graders and some of them are full on ADULT size!!!

Dear Santa
When you take the week of Thanksgiving off, you get to do things early in the holiday and avoid the lines. Note to self...will remember this for the future. This year the girls both had big ticket items on their list and they were super excited to talk to the BIG man about these. For Els it was a pair of Beats, for Hads it was a phone. I took in this year, because this may very well be the last year, Hadley willingly participates.
