Hadley went out with a boy that was a friend, his Mom took them to a friends to eat. When they were late, Wayne had me take this picture and send it to her. For reals though...I have a feeling this one will be pulled out for future use.

EEK EEKK EEEKK
When you open yourself up to the unknown, it can be kind of scary and then other times you can see where HE has his hand in the whole process the whole time and it can be absolutely UH MAY ZING. The afternoon we closed on our old house, Wayne took Ellison to a basketball game and I took Hadley with me...(you saw Hadley and I celebrated with Doughnuts) because I was totally trying to be the cool mom :) After we celebrated with doughnuts, I told her we could go to the pool at the condo. She was thrilled. We got to the pool and some of our dearest friends were there with their youngest son swimming. I began to chat with them, we already knew they were staying in the condos because they were in the process of building, but really hadn't had a chance to catch up with them. As we sat there and chatted, Brooke mentioned driving me over to see their new house, it was right down the road. I left Hadley and jumped in the car. As we walked her floor plan, I just kept repeating this is all of the things Wayne and I said we wanted, an open floor plan, a full basement, a large master closet. Brooke kept telling me the house next door was the same floor plan, just different finishes as it was the model home and it was now for sale. She convinced me to walk over and take a look and I knew as soon as I saw it...I was in awe. It was the perfect fit for us...more room, but not overwhelming and it checked the boxes of what we were looking for.
Wayne thought I was a crazy woman that night when I insisted he go check it out first thing the next morning. He knew too, I tried to contain myself while he looked, but he had the same reaction, it was what we were looking for, what we needed and in our price range too. We began taking pictures and envisioning all that we could do.
The following Monday Wayne would call and make an offer, requesting a few changes, paint, column change and a set of doors changed out and we would be under contract!!!! EEEK!!!!
HE really does have a plan for us.
The view from the dining room, into the living room, kitchen and breakfast nook. We will be saying goodbye to that big white column.
The kitchen, little drab, right now, but we will spice it up with a backsplach and some color.
From the living room, towards the front door. The double doors lead to what will be Els room. Those are the doors we will be replacing. Although Wayne and I both think the glass french doors are beautiful, a little girl needs some kind of privacy growing up. The door with the arm outlined is Hadley's room and there is a bathroom in the hallway between the two rooms.
View from the breakfast nook out to the backyard.
A view into the master bathroom, which leads in to the master closet and then laundry.
A view from the closet back into the bathroom.
A view from the front. It amazes me every time I look at the front, how tiny it looks. It is crazy what it holds inside.
An inside view of Hadley's room.
An inside view of Els room.
Close up of fireplace.
Close up of breakfast nook.
View from breakfast nook back into living room and dining room.
My pictures have gotten totally wack a doo out of order, but I'm going with it. This is our bedroom.
Close up of kitchen...seriously, that is plain.
Back deck...those double doors lead to the full basement. Chris and Brooke's house to the left.

We went out to William's to swim, but before we went we stopped and took care of this big boy...he was less than amused with my selfie!
