GIRLS RULE!!!!

My girls snuggled up in bed before we headed out for a little girl time....

Our first stop for girl time was Walmart...because nothing says girl time like Walmart, right?  Wrong, but both of the girls had been begging for some type of transportation since we moved to the hood.  Els picked a bike and then Hads picked a scooter.  Els insisted on riding her transportation to the car...getting her monies worth.

Next stop was manicures, but we didn't get a picture in the salon, however we walked over to Panera after and I captured these sweet faces.

My view across the table was pretty uh may zing.....

After lunch, we stepped over to TJ Max...she liked this chair....ALOT!

This warms a Mama's heart, it may be short lived, but for the brief moment, there was love.

After we got home, we went for a golf cart ride, we had so much fun!!!!

Just call me Picasso

When we moved to the new house, we needed furniture and my Mom had offered up this piece, but it needed to be "refreshed".  I had already painted a few pieces in our house, so thought I was up for the task of giving this hutch a try.  I was thrilled with the end result!!!!

More in the Middle

It's time to get those school supplies out and those lunch boxes packed....back to the grind....we blinked and summer was over and we have one headed to first grade and one headed to sixth grade.  More changes are in store for these girls, as this marks the first time one of my kiddos will be in school without her Daddy in the building.  Wayne moved up to the middle school this school year, so that leaves Els at the Elementary school by herself.  She won't have her Daddy keeping an eye on her and she won't be running in to big sis in the hallway.  Hads probably wasn't expecting her Dad to follow her to the middle school, but surprise surprise, she just can't shake him.

We love Ms. Cloer and are so excited, she will be taking care of Red this year.

Two precious girls, Luci and Els...I had no idea when I took this, what a special little friendship would develop.

Realizing she has to say goodbye to sis, and she won't see her all day.

Picking the BFF, Bek up at her Mom's room, so we can walk over to the Middle School...I'm a little worried they won't get to see the real Hadley...she is such a wallflower.
