White Noise

We are working out some formula issues with El A and the other night she was a little fussy and by a little, I mean a little. Even when she is uncomfortable she hardly makes a peep. I needed to get a couple things done before her next feeding and I know she loves the sound of running water, so I tried something a little new. Between the running water in the machine, the vibration of the spin cycle and the dryer running, chick was in white noise heaven. She didn't make a peep until I went to get her to feed her.

Gingerbread time

Tonight we are getting in the Christmas spirit. The other night I had purchased a gingerbread house kit to put together. I have always wanted to make one, but was unsure about making one with Hadley. I was afraid my OCD tendencies would take over and I wouldn't let her participate, because it wouldn't turn out perfect. I got it framed up, we let it sit and then we went to work. Hads made me laugh immediately and I decided however it turned out was okay. As we were putting the balls on the roof, Hads told me she wanted to do an AB pattern (red, green, red, green), WOW!!!! I thought I was seeing a glimpse of her OCD until she got to the windows and tree. When I asked her what kind of pattern she was going to do, she said "Mom sometimes you don't need a pattern." We had fun, I let her do whatever with it and I think it turned out pretty perfect!!!!

Ellison was there, hanging out on the table in her bouncy set. I would like to say she enjoyed watching us, but she slept.

The Best Presents Under Our Tree

First Sunday

Ellison went to Church this morning for the first time. She made it through the entire service without having to be taken out, which is more than we can say for Hads at that age (chick never made it through a church service). I snapped these when we got home, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the first one. Ellison seems to be giving Hadley her opinion on all the drama.
