Dodge for a Cause

The house is finally back in order after the remodel!!!! WHOOT WHOOT!! We just have a few finishing touches and I will share before and after pictures. Of course I have to find the before pictures, they are buried somewhere before the digital age.

This weekend we went to a fundraiser for this little lady. It was a dodgeball tournament between the different schools in the county and city. It was good entertainment, hilarious!!!! Check Wayne out doesn't he look cool!!!

This picture cracks me up. Why you ask? It's pictures of the back of two little heads. Well the curly haired DIVA has been horrible lately and has lost, TV, DS, her camera, Wii, computer, and anything else that could be remotely fun. So when her friend had her DS at the game, Hads became conjoined to her. Which was fine, until I looked down and Hads had it in her hands. "Hadley Aliene Harper, what are you doing?" She didn't say a word, she just turned around and looked at me like a puppy dog and handed it back to her friend. SNEAKY, SNEAKY that one.

One of Hads favorite things, getting her picture made with sis while kissing on her.

One of her second favorite things, taking Ellison's picture.

At the end of the day, we were tired. I layed down on the floor to play with Ellison, she whined a couple of times, I popped the pacy in and next thing I knew we were both out. The pillows and blankets are courtesy of the DIVA who was trying to make amends.

Hads family

Hadley brought this family portrait home today from school. I'm not sure why I'm soo much taller than everyone else or why Wayne's hair looks like he is growing twigs but I love that Ellison has a shock of red hair.

Today at school Hadley's teacher brought her to Wayne's room at the end of the day. Considering the trouble we have had out of her lately, he thought they were going to be taking a trip to the office for another paddling. But that was not the case, seems Hads wanted to show off her reading skills, she read the book Dad, Pat and Sam. She loves words, hoping her love for reading continues.

Destined

From the looks

of these pictures

you couldn't tell

that this little darling

is probably destined

for tubes in her ears

We have been home today with another ear infection. Saturday and Sunday this dimpled darling just wasn't herself and by Sunday her daddy said we were going to have to quit bragging on her if she kept fussing. After two restless pretty sleepless nights we went to the doctor this AM to learn we have one ear infection and one ear with fluid on it. However, we haven't had enough ear infections in synchronicity to warrant a referral to an ENT. I'm not sure how many ear infections you have to have in a 2 month period, but I'm pretty sure three double infections are getting close!!! Tubes did a world of good for her sister and I'm sure we will be there before the end of the year.

Not a Fan

Don't let the smile in the second one fool you, she does not like real food!! She is a gagger, overly dramatic every bite, gonna make me puke.

Stone Mountain

Yesterday we went to Stone Mountain Park with our church. It was a beautiful day, but I was a little unsure about going. We were leaving at 7:30 in the morning and wouldn't be home until around 11:00 that night. I had visions of a horribly stressful day with a 5 month old outside, away from home. Plus someone has been walking a very fine line with her behavior lately and I wasn't sure she really deserved to go.

But go we did and we had a great day. El's made only one peep during the whole day and that lasted for a minute at best around 6:00 after she hadn't really had a nap all day. Hads behaved as best she could with no major incidents and it couldn't have been a better trip.

There was an obstacle course with a zip line, which Hads did again,

and again,

and again, and again, and again, and again,

and again, you get the idea!!!

El's practiced her dimpled grin for everyone to see.

We walked and enjoyed the beautiful day in a beautiful place.

We played putt putt as only The Harper's can.

We made memories.
We enjoyed these blue eyes under a beautiful blue sky
