Note to Self...

Google what it means when you have gone out to eat a nice family meal, you look up and your 6 year is fluffing her hair, smiling at her reflection in a spoon?  Pretty sure, google will tell me this is not a good sign....

I'm not the Winner

I am really getting a poser in the morning.  Such sweet little smiles and standing still.  I love it and when she is like this I could seriously eat her up.  Then the Ellison Effect takes over......

And she does something like this right in front of you, while your hands are all soapy from washing dishes and you can't stop her.....

After taking a couple of pictures, you remove her from the wash cycle and she quickly moves on to some other form of havoc, and you find her doing this.....

I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting to concede, declare her the winner and move on to the next stage.

Nostalgia

This morning, I got a wee bit sad when I put this outfit on Ellison.  It is one of my favorite old outfits of Hadley's.  It seems like just yesterday that Hadley was wearing it, but it wasn't it was years ago.  I also got a rare bit of cooperation from Ellison Ann this morning.  Unfortunately, my camera battery was dead and it was all I could do to get one picture off.  After I got the picture uploaded today, I went looking for pictures of Hadley when she wore it.  Oh my at Hadley's headful of curly hair.

The picture doesn't really show the emotion going on in this picture.  She wanted to get the blocks off.  She wanted one to play with and she wasn't happy when she couldn't get one off.
