Easter Fun

What a beautiful Easter Sunday.  This morning when the girls got up there were oblivious to the fact that the Easter Bunny had come.  When I reminded Hadley, she began searching through the house, she thought the Easter Bunny had hidden her loot.  Once they found the baskets, Hadley was so excited, Ellison on the other hand was clueless as to what was going on.  She kept watching Hadley trying to figure out what to do.

Later I got the girls dressed in their BellBell originals.  I'm pretty sure the majority of my pictures of the Red Head will be taken in this chair for the foreseeable future.  After I had snapped a couple inside, I had the bright idea to take her outside.  It was like a bird that had been freed from her cage.  She was off.  I'm not happy with any of the pictures I got of her.  She is so stinkin stubborn, very different than her sister glamour girl, who over poses.

An EGG cellent Day

Friday Hadley had her Easter Egg Hunt at school.  Els and I went early and helped them hide the eggs, or throw them out in the grass.  Els helped and she threw them kind of hard and broke a few.  She threw one of her mad fits in front of all the other parents, AWESOME!!!  They had us put them in the outfield, they lined the kids up at the beginning of the outfield and then they turned them loose.  The parents were at the back of the outfield, so it was like taking pictures of ants swarming and good luck keeping up with your ant.  It was hilarious.

ZOO tacular

Thursday Wayne and I went on Hadley's class field trip to Zoo Atlanta.  The weather was perfect.  Unlike our other trip to Zoo Atlanta, we saw lots of animals.  Wayne and I had Hadley in our group and two other boys.  It really stressed me out having responsibility for someone else's kids in a place like the zoo.  It didn't help that the boys had trouble curbing their enthusiasm and kept getting too far away from us.  We were both completely exhausted at the end of the day.

Our self portrait.  I got picked to ride the bus down with Hadley (Wayne drove separate so we would have a car in case we had to leave to get Ellison).  The bus ride wow, Hadley was so excited and I think I was about to spew.  Who remembers the bus being so rough?

They had a parakeet section and you were in their with the birds.  The sign said "Poo happens", so when someone moved quickly or coughed and all the birds got spooked you are covering your head as they fly over, hoping you don't get bombed.

This goat was HUGE.  When it stood up, the top of it's back hit at my stomach.  Hadley loved brushing the animals.

I'm the map, I'm the map, I'm the map.

Do you see someone in distress?

Susan Lucci watch out

I'm a little upset about the news that All My Children has been cancelled.  However, I have learned that the Red Head has her own soap going on, maybe All Els Men.  I'm missing one picture, I didn't get a picture of her with William.  I mean seriously, Els LOVES people.  Other than me, I haven't seen anyone she has refused to go to.  Walt and William she sees on a pretty regular basis.  The other two gentlemen, we go to Church with, but I don't know that she has ever truly SEEN them.  She didn't care, she throws her arms up, bats her puppy dog eyes and off she goes.

It's all in the HUNT

We had our Easter Egg Hunt with the Church tonight.  The grass was really high.  A certain Red Head didn't like it at all.  She just stood there and grunted a lot.  When she tried to walk she got stuck.  If we found an egg, I was suppose to pick it up and hand it to her to put it in the basket.  The few I got her to try and pick up made her really mad.

Hadley had a blast.  She loved tromping around in the grass being on a treasure hunt.  She got mad at me several times when I asked her to pose for pictures.
