VBS

I mean it's a fist pumping good time...no telling what this was about.  One minutes she is standing there all bashful and the next she is pumping up the jam.

Do you see Curls?  She had a very special VBS.  She gave her heart to Jesus, she was saved on June 14, 2013.

The last night of VBS, there were water slides and time with precious friends.

Precious, little friends.....

Some didn't ride on the water slides but a couple of times, before they decided it wasn't all that.  Absolutely priceless...

Others slid and slid and slid some more.  They would have slid all night.

A Wedding....Family photo op

The most gorgeous wedding EVER.  It was absolute perfection the place, the weather, the couple everything.  It was the first wedding Ellison went to and I was just a little bit nervous.  She did oHHHH Kay, not great but okay.  She did consume three bags of BBQ chips as her dinner so major score for her.  She is an absolute junk food junky.

Funny Face I Love You

So they totally have the silly thing down, but when you are posing in front of a flamingo can you really take yourself seriously?

Taking matters into 5 year old hands

This is "The Crew" at the park.  Little red in the face, but boy did they have fun.  We met Amanda and her girls at the Chick fil A for lunch, which was crazy town, but we braved it.  Members of our dining party may or may not have been covered in Polynesian sauce after the meal.  After the Chick, we headed to the Park.  I let Hadley pick which Park, we went to and for some reason she didn't pick our usual Park.  Not that we are Park regulars or anything, because the whole helicopter Mom thing gets taken to another level when the girls and I go to the Park, but any who, she wanted to go to a different Park.  It was all fun and games for 5 seconds until the kids that were already on the equipment, marked it as theirs and wouldn't let the girls up the towers or down the slides on one side.  They were like actual mean girls.  Bratty, want to take them over your knee mean girls, complete with missing in action parents.  Not one to confront other peoples kids, because umm hello this world today, a little unstable....we told the girls to go play on the other side.  Which they did reluctantly.  Amanda and I were chatting and then we heard Rae (Amanda's oldest) behind us.  She had walked up to a lady sitting on a bench and was setting her straight.  She let the lady know that "those girls were being mean and wouldn't let them play and she needed to do something about it."  Unfortunately, the mean girls didn't belong to this lady, but I so appreciated her 5 year old spunk in handling the situation.
So glad we got to spend the afternoon with these girlies, they are growing so fast.
