Just BEACHIN"

We left my parents house and headed further South...the girls new we were going to the Beach, but they didn't know we had a surprise for them....the Knights came down and spent a few days with us.

As soon as we met them, we acquired Owen and the Knights got Hadley.

We hit up the pool, which was a little cold for the adults, but the kiddos didn't seem to mind at all.

Second night dinner pictures.  Well it was out first attempt at dinner, the first place we stopped was out of something we were wanting, so we had to hit up another place.

After we finished dinner, we noticed the "HOT" sign was on and well you know we had to stop.

Then we might have gone shopping aka horsing around in stores.  She was not amused by the sweater we said she needed.

Breakfast...the line was long...the girls were BORED....but we weren't in a hurry.

Beach DAY!!!  

Perhaps, the most favorite part of the trip.  We met David and Dana and they took us to the beach in their neck of the woods.  We got to have a campfire on the beach, grill hot dogs, make smores....it was cold and it was FABULOUS!!!!

The day after Christmas, we got up and headed to my parents house.  The Red Head in one of her new outfits...I think she likes it.

I think the Red Head like the shoes that she got.  I mean they are BIG girl shoes, with a wedge heel.

I liked the shoes that Hadley got, but it doesn't appear that she is willing to share.  Guess the rest of the shoes in my closet are now off limits to her!!!!

Christmas MORN

The girls slept together in Hadley's room Christmas Eve.  Before we let them see what Santa had brought or open presents, we read the Christmas Story.

The precious Red Head....oh me...this Christmas was rough, and she sure knows how to put a smile on your face.  She shopped her room, and selected presents for us from her stuff.  I was gifted this Dr. Seuss hat and I am rocking it.

She had asked for a robe and was pretty thrilled with how soft it was.

It was fitting that our first Christmas in our new home, we would have family in.  We attempted a picture before our guests arrived..not realizing how dark it was.
