Happy Birthday to YOU

Someone turned 12 and I was in denial that the following year, I would have a teenager.  I wish I could say I remembered her baby years like they were yesterday, but the truth is I was in such a sleep deprived fog, I'm not quite sure how either of us even made it out!!  For her special day, she wanted her bestie (Bek) to spend the night.  She selected Panera for dinner, her Dad was less than thrilled.  He thinks Panera is too expensive and he always complains that he leaves hungry.  He ended up taking them to see a movie after dinner so I'm sure he filled up on popcorn.

The next morning, I got the girls up and we went for mani pedis...they kind of loved it alot.

This one thought she was BIG stuff tagging along with the BIG girls.

After mani pedis a Starbucks stop was in order and all this girl wanted was a cake pop!

After presents they piled up in my bed, with my Mom's dog Ginger and watched a movie....there is a whole lot of sas in that bed right there.

Later that evening we celebrated with cake!!!!  The most amazing perfect cake ever.  It was a brownie with peanut butter frosting...Thank You Katie...all other cakes have now ceased to exist!

I love watching my girl play tennis.  Her first middle school match, as a 6th grader, she was playing #2 and she won.

All of my paint projects, here in one place....I'm kind of addicted to chalk painting, so I'm pretty sure there are going to be more!!!

She doesn't get to stay away from home often, but when she does, she gets quite giddy about it.  I got these pictures from Luci's Mom the next morning....I mean, clearly she missed us and was tore up because we left her behind.
