I got this book for Christmas and just finished it a few days ago. To steal Zig Ziglar's tag line, "FANTASTIC". I enjoyed the entire book, it had me reflecting on the past and contemplating the future. His perspective truly is inspirational. I love the first line in Chapter 39 it says, "Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted." I immediately flashed back to when I was about 12 years old and had first started showing horses. Things didn't go well in the beginning and there were lots of times I was the last one to walk out of the ring, because that's when my name was called, LAST. Each time I would get discouraged and each time my Mom and Dad said, "Carrie it's a learning experience." To which I said, "I don't need any more learning experiences, I want to WIN." Things eventually got better and I had a successful show career with a few WINS. I realized I had to have those experiences to appreciate a WIN. The WIN truly meant something because it was a reward for my hard work. If you haven't already, I recommend reading this book, FANTASTIC.Guess what tomorrow is, Show N Tell Day, I'm so excited!!!! It is Winter Collage Day, one question: Does it look like Hadley made this project? To say I struggled to find "Winter" themed items would be a stretch, thankfully this afternoon, I had gone around and asked a couple of my coworkers if they had any Christmas cards they could spare. I'm really excited about my work in Pre-Pre K, I think I will pass to Pre-K with flying colors!!!
