The below writing sample of Hadley's was selected as the Kindergarten submission for her school in the Young Georgia Author's Contest. There is one winner selected per grade to send on to the County competition. The submissions are unassisted student works and the group selecting the winners don't know whose work they are viewing. I am so proud of our girl.
In Hadley's words, this was "her best work to date." Early on when I started the blog, I told a story about teaching our girl to be humble, or bumble in her words, clearly we still have our work cut out for us in that area.
