CRAZY TOWN

So I knew when I picked her up and she started backing behind the bookshelf and bawling that there was going to be a problem.  They said she didn't take a nap and that always means she is going to be more stubborn than usual.  I mean on a good day, parenting her means you have to figure out how to make her think what you want her to do, is her idea.  If you can do that you are golden, however when she is overtired you aren't afforded that amount of time.  She goes straight to crazy town.  So it was crazy town we went.  I litterally had to pick her up and carry her out sideways under my arm kicking and screaming.  My other arm was full of her stuff, so I ended up semi dropping her on the floor in front of the school.  OF COURSE, parents were coming in.  Parents, like multiple sets of parents.  They were all doing that look away thing, you know, the can you believe what a horrid child look away???  Several almost broke into a sprint so they could distance themselves from crazy town, so it doesn't wear off on their perfectly angelic children.  When I got to the car, I had to drop her in the floor board, go around and get the AC going (it was sweltering) as I knew I was in for a wrestling match to get her in her car set.  I got in next to her and physcially had to pin her down in the seat while I buckled her one handed.  It was brutal.  The same parents that were going in, when I came out, started coming out while I was still buckling her and they began to sprint and look away, because of course we were sitting right outside the front doors.

Of course as she was falling asleep, she was plotting her escape.  She got half way unbuckled and passed out.
