Hadley: Mommy I got to be the helper at school today.
Me: You did, what did you do.
Hadley: I got to hold the door.
Me: All by yourself, wasn't it heavy?
Hadley: I didn't pick it up [eyes roll].

Hadley: [Sees Wayne putting on a collared shirt] Daddy, you really need to put the flips [collar] down, you don't look cool with them up.

Hadley: [Trying to get Wayne out the door] Come on BIG Chunky let's go!!!

Hadley: Mom I really need you to clean this place up and vacuum, it's a MESS!!!
Me: [Glare]

I've just taken some more drugs and am headed back to bed, while my crew is at Church. Yesterday we spent the better part of the day in doctor's offices. Hadley is coming down with a sinus infection. Wayne is just plain junky. I convinced him to make his first and last trip to a MedNow, where he got a shot in the booty and some drugs and is feeling much perkier. When we got home yesterday we were all exhausted and took naps, when I got up I was feeling like death. I love my crew, but they could have kept their germs. Did I mention Wayne is much perkier now, it is really annoying now that I'm sick...

The Fair
Birds eye view of the fair!!
Can we go to the fair again someday?
Notice someone is sporting a new shorter due, it totally suits flossy. It bounces when she walks and is so sassy. After we got it cut I told her how much I liked it and asked her if she did, she replied "nope not really."

Camouflaged Love
Today was camo day at The Bud, which sent me scrambling to find something for Hads to wear. Camo doesn't hang a plenty in her closet, although if it were pink or bling day we would be set. With limited notice and my lack of patience in my current state (who am I kidding, I've never had patience), I settled really quick when I found shorts on sale for $3.00. Since they were very "boy" and very long, we cut them off and added some bling. She deemed them comfortable, which is her major requirement when it comes to clothes these days, so they may become a staple in her wardrobe.
Today was also her first field trip, which meant her first bus ride. To say she was excited to ride the bus would be an understatement. I tried not to imagine my little baby on the BIG bus. I think in her mind the bus ride trumped the field trip. The parents were invited to meet the children at the Arts Center. Since it was Hads first field trip, I just knew she would want her Mama there. UMMM not so much. When I asked her if she wanted me to go with her, she turns her head up thinks for a few seconds and then says, "I think I will just go with my friends." Dagger thru my heart, I explain that she can still go with her friends, mommy will just meet her there. She reluctantly agrees I can meet her there if I want to. All warm and fuzzy, loved and needed I meet her at the show where they are set to see The Puppet Guy perform Circus Fanta-Sea. Thankfully, my heart didn't take another blow and she was glad to see me, even sitting with me for part of the show, before sweetly asking me if she could go sit with her friends. It was a great show and the kids loved it. When it came time to leave, Hads stands up files away in line with her classmates and doesn't even give me a second look. Clearly, she suffers from severe separation anxiety.....

Alabama Getaway
We loaded up this weekend and headed to "Sweat" Home Alabama. It will probably be our last trip until we are a family of 4. Between my huffing and puffing being uncomfortable during the drive and Hadley asking 9 different ways, if we were there yet, I'm pretty sure we made Wayne pretty miserable!!! It all got better for him on Saturday, FOOTBALL TIME!!! Hadley posed with him for a mili second before she was off to play with her PawPaw!!!
Saturday night we got together with Matt, Nikki and Wyatt. Here they are loading up in the Mule to go see a wild HOG!! Hadley informed them it wasn't a HOG it was a pig...hmmm.
