Ready for 2011

The tree is down, the decorations are up, the last presents have been opened and all the baby things are gone. I'm most sad about the last part. Prior to the clean sweep of Christmas stuff, the baby swing, exersaucer, and baby travel system went on to a new baby. I can't believe my second baby girl has outgrown all those things. She is now so busy, in to everything and sitting in a big girl car seat.

This weekend my parents came up and the girls got a second shot at Christmas. They were delighted and had a grand time. We will begin the deprogramming this PM. They kind of like all the attention they get when their BellBell and PawPaw are here.

Tomorrow Ellison returns to school, so sad about that too. Her last day was two Thursdays before Thanksgiving. The plague took up residence at our house and she has missed the last six weeks. It will be hard to leave her because she was suppose to start in a new room the first of the year, so she hasn't had any time to transition. It could be quite traumatic for both of us. Or knowing her she could quite possibly go in, establish herself as Queen of the class and begin bullying all the other kids.
