Life is just beachy!

Wayne had his 20 Year High School Reunion a few weeks ago and we went to Alabama for the weekend.  Since we were 3/4 of the way to the beach, we decided to take a mini vacation.  So it was off to Panama City Beach for a fun filled four days.  On the way down Wayne looked at the weather report and it looked like we were suppose to have rain every day, thankfully it was gorgeous.  Slightly overcast each day, which made the temperature perfect.

I have a lot more pictures of Hadley on this trip.  For some reason, she was being quite the little model.  Not sure what got in to her, but she was even more of a glamour girl than usual.

Before our trip Nana Vicki gave the girls a bag full of goodies and in that bag were some colored bubbles.  The beach is the perfect place for bright purple colored bubbles, because when the dye gets all over them, stick them in the ocean and you are good to go!!!

After the beach and dinner we thought we might take the girls out for some fun.  Ellison took a good nap and we could hang out a little while longer before the princess had to go to bed, so we took them to race golf carts.  They had fun...me in a golf cart in a dress not the best combination.  I'm not sure how many people I flashed as I raced around the course...I'm sorry to all the families.

I asked for a picture from these two before they raced and this is what I got, Wayne's children for sure.

This sums her up so well.  She marches to her own beat and makes her own rules.  One way...???  Don't you mean My Way?

Still feeling like we had a little energy in us, we decided to go for PuttPutt while we were at it.  We thought Ellison was old enough to enjoy it.  It was really 17 holes too many for her.  She lost interest after the first hole.  She just ran to the end of each hole, grabbed our balls as soon as we hit them and tried to bring them back to us.  Who needs to keep score when you are having fun!?!!

Our last day at the beach.  Both girls got their first taste of a mild sunburn, we forgot to reapply when we were out the day before.  I went and picked up Ellison a rash guard to give her some extra coverage.  It is a total contrast against her tutu bathing suit, but I think it suits her perfectly.
