80 and dreading the rain

It is 80 and gorgeous today. That will last until the rain shows up later in the week, because we could really use some more rain (heavy on the sarcasm here.) Hadley was so excited to go out and ride her scooter when we got home. She has never been much of an outdoors girl, so I was curious to see how long it lasted. She made exactly two circles on her scooter before she proclaimed her legs were given out and she was going to ride her tricycle, which she rode exactly two loops before she gave up. She then moved on to her swing set, where she swang for all of 1 minute, hung from the rings once, went down the slide once, then my personal favorite let Abby go for a couple of swings. She has now come inside and taken residence on the couch. Her first online purchase has shown up. For her birthday KJ, Keith and Nora gave her a gift card to Walmart. Hadley wanted to use it to buy Madagascar 2, so I showed her how to shop online. I realize I will regret this life lesson all too soon.
